What time Pacific is the counter starting? I can't find a time on the update.

But I know that Demo won't win, but soldier does, or then it will be a tie.

I'm going to keep my contribution zero, even while playing as a soldier (which I mainly do).
Why the hell nobody is playing as Demo?
The whole red team was playing demo the last time I played.

I'm pretty sure the Soldier will win, since he's basically a jack of all trades... good in almost every situation, and alot of newplayers love him, as well as old players.
Not to mention of how when I today went soldier, ran around with the shovel and trying to get the Demomen's attention so they'd kill me... and I ended up getting killed 3 times by demomen, a fuckload more by other classes like engineer, scout and sniper, and ended up acccidentally killing 2 demomen with my shovel :(
The demoman NEEDS that weapon.

I'd laugh when the soldier wins, and they reveal the specs of both weapons and the demoman's appears to be way more awesome.
Will they start showing the new stuff from Monday and onwards? Or will they update during this weekend aswell(most unlikely)?
But considering it, it'll be unfair and VALVe doesn't like unfair-ness. So I'm half-sure that they will release the others weapon a while later, maybe with the Engineers update.

on the TF2maps forums they already gave a hint that they were different. It has been posted in a thread around here aswell, let me try and fetch it for you.

Whats so annoying is that pretty much any server i go to theres like 2 demos out of 12 of their team... only got like 90 kills because of that.

Only got 6 soldier kills thus far.
No kills so far.
I play as them frequently, but every server I go has the whole Demoman or Soldier
slots full.
Now 235 Demomen kills.
Holy crap so it really was a competition.
I REALLY LOVE the horrendous amounts of day 1 demos on every server

this also applies to all the day 1 soldiers, but to a lesser degree.
