I've noticed with the VPK tool in TF2 it restricts the folder to be 399mb or below. Anything over will give an error and a VPK won't be made. The L4D2 VPK doesn't give errors for any size but it isn't read in tf2, most likely Valve is going to have a fixed version of the VPK Tool for tf2 on release.

I find it a miracle that he has paint set up on it, though I expect that he just changed the material colour in whatever program he used.

Didn't someone make like a good quality version of that as parody? I'd love to see that or something that makes fun of the morons on the workshop who copy and past "add this cuz it's awesome xD" over and over again on "Edited in using paint Intervention #3047".

Here's my idea. It would be added to the drop system and be very common during April Fool's (without the players knowing though, it wouldn't count towards your cap)
it'll become very common, almost everyone would have the thing.
Then it'll be removed a week or two later and the person who made it gets a self-made version.

Shouldn't be tradable/craftable, though.
Next year we should make an april´s fool joke involving Valve just like Reddit did, but related to the Mad Cap and it´s addition. A remastered Mad Cap. So they have no excuse

Man, that's annoying. I wonder if that was intentional, or simply Valve's oversight. I can't imagine them wanting to do that on purpose, but I guess you're right. They're unpredictable as heck.

I know this is a slightly belated subject now, but I think adding anything into the game proper as an April Fool's joke would be really horrible.
Regardless of the quality of lack thereof of the item submission, I would be really crushed if Valve added an item I made into a game I love, only to turn around and go 'just kidding, ha ha.' That would really hurt anyone's feelings, considering how big a deal it can be to have your stuff in the game and available!

I don't know what country you guys grew up in but from where i'm from legos had flat topped pegs, and weren't round.
however this is also coming from the guy with a bin full of assorted lego sets that occasionally would make the floor into a death trap. and otherwise has only ever finished a full set one time.

That item is the robot hat that you got from the "Rise of the Martian Bear" DLC in their game called Iron Brigade. Pretty fun console arcade game that got ported to PC.
They probably made the item just for the sake of the reference.
