Was thinking about trying my hand at this stuff, but wanted to know before I waste time: Are there any custom scrap/junk metal models that can be used as props in a level? I never really modeled before, other than spending way too much effort on crappy brushbased objects in Hammer. I figure even if they haven't been made, making some shouldn't be too hard for a novice like me. My overall idea is this: To make a scrapyard themed level (Current idea: Payload Race, 2 points 1st stage, 1 point second) and some themed weapons to go along with it. These would be multi-class reskins of current weapons. Shotgun, pistol, some melee slots. While I wanted to try to do this all by my lonesome with the 3DS trial, but I am notoriously lazy and wouldn't deny anyone who wants to help if they like the idea enough.

You need GCFscape to extract textures, google it. The Tyrant's helm texture is in the Tf2 Materials.gcf file, probably somewhere in materials\player\items [editline]07:46AM[/editline] Is there really NOBODY who can help me? :eng99:

Shit looks cool, but Loadout button looks out of place.. Try placing the backpack icon there or something. And make the X red!

He's currently negotiating with the mods. If I recall correctly, he really didn't post anything bad at those forums.

You used the wrong font in the promo. 2. Making team colored stuff is one of the many things that earns you hate, so I recommend not doing it.
