Everything in the game is team colored. Even the damn bases are team colored.

They were in the beta, valve made them neutral in the release.

Team colored weapons? I don't see why every weapon has to be team colored, agreed. They did screw up on the disguise kit not being team colored, and I eventually am going to do a fix for that. But most weapons? Nah, don't need team colors.
[B]Team colored hats on the other hand are essential.[/B] Clothing on the characters should be team colored, except in the rare occasions that they shouldn't be. This does not include true neutral colors like greys whites and blacks.
If it's red, there should be a blue.
If it's orange, there should be a yellow.
If it's purple, there should be a violet.
If it's green, there should be a turquoise, or at least a more "bluish" green or "redish" green... you get what I'm saying.
The ONLY acceptions I find acceptable as per misc items and hats go would be things related to things in game that don't already have team colors. If you make, for example, a misc item that is a purse for the Pyro? I don't think it has team colors in game, therefore as an item it shouldn't have team colors either. Same goes with Drax's Bonk! Crit A Cola hat, as it doesn't have team colors either.
Now, this is personal opinion, and you don't have to listen to me, but I think it would be best for the community.

Lara Croft's boobs had 20 000 polies alone in Anniversary, and that was 4 years ago.
Valve's intention of keeping stuff under 10k polies is because they, as a company, need to care about consumers with lower end machines.
And people with lower end machines won't bother using skins when their pc's barely handle the game.

2 monocles, a few sniper shades, medic glasses, and engie goggles.
he was also given another engie goggle pair, and a hat soon after this picture was taken.
