I think it's Soldiers using the Escape Plan too much as opposed to other melees and it's always "oops took too much damage time to run away now byeeee~"
so reducing damage makes it less attractive therefore used less if you think it's too effective just nerf the speed boost
so reducing damage makes it less attractive therefore used less if you think it's too effective just nerf the speed boost
If it's being used solely as a utility and not a weapon, the damage isn't gonna matter
Game breaking bug confirmed http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/10274-huge-game-breaking-glitch-discovered
Infinite Uber Glitch V2: All-class Boogaloo.
Not sure if late, but when you go to craft things, your Backpack doesn't stay organized by page anymore. It's all bundled up based on the order, even if you spaced stuff out.
see: rescue ranger (however slightly, it's still a buff)
Well the rescue ranger came before the update, but I'll have to try it out.
If it's being used solely as a utility and not a weapon, the damage isn't gonna matter
right now a lot of people use it because it has potential as both

So I couldn't help but notice the lack of fixes for overdose reloading, beta HUD icons, hole-less revolvers and other visual fixes which have been mods for 4-5 years. I appreciate what they did fix, but still disappointed that these were left out.
OH MY GOD YEEAAAAAAAAAAH ROCK N ROLL
right now a lot of people use it because it has potential as both
Pretty much this. It was being used so often because it combined the best of both worlds, not just because it had utility. Valve failed at balancing it completely, giving it virtually no downsides, whilst successfully balancing the counterpart, the Equalizer. The Equalizer is a balanced and fair weapon, dealing around 50% damage less at full health, but roughly 50% more when near death. This makes it roughly the same as a stock weapon in terms of damage, the fun being that it as implied, lets you "Equalize" a fight. They then go ahead and put the base damage on the Escape Plan, meaning it on average deal the same damage as an Equalizer and every other stock weapon, whilst still letting you have movement speed that only becomes better and better. The Escape Plan is as close as you can get to a direct upgrade, whilst not being one(The only direct upgrades being the Amputator and the Solemn Vow), whilst also being overpowered as hell. Now, it would be a fine start to reduce the damage by -50%, removing the entire "champion of all trades" aspect from it. Should it still be overused after that, they could go ahead and remove a slight bit of the speed boost from it, till it feels right. But putting the "Mark of Death" on a weapon that is meant to let you avoid death, that's just silly! Also, speaking of the Equalizer, they should just go ahead and remove the "Blocks Healing" attribute from it. There is no reason for it to be there, the Equalizer is balanced enough without it.

They should probably just keep it like it is now. I agree that it's a kind of odd one, because the healing could save him, but it could also go against what he wants. It's a sketchy one, if you know the Medic is around you can obviously just switch weapon, but if he don't know, you could of wanted healing but didn't switch weapon because you was unaware. Personally, I'd favour not having that "downside", but I'd imagine others would argue they want to keep it, so I'd probably just leave it be.
Shahenshah
Touche.
I got Daimo's new Medic coat, which was the only good unbox I got
Gah, I can't play it. The main menu freezes up when I start up the game.
Shahenshah
Did you get the name right by memory or did you look it up? If you did it by memory, that's some neat skills you have there! I considered to include it in my post to compare to the Equalizer, but I was to lazy to search up on the name. I tend to just refer to it as "The Scimitar". What was you thinking Valve... Maybe nobody use it because they just can't be bothered with such a silly name.

I'm still a bit sad they didn't fix grenade launchers having forced damage spread on direct hits. That should count as a bug.
Anyone else upset at the fact they basically removed Saharan Spy? I never played as it, but it was a pretty big part of most spies playstyle
I hope it was memory, because he mispelled it. It's the shananshah. An 'a', not an 'e'. A simple mistake if you're remembering it, but somewhat worse if you copied it from the wiki.
Memory.
But it's Shahanshah, not Shahenshah.
Shashahkashaha
Did the Cloak and Dagger get buffed? Doesn't seem to have a reduced cloak duration anymore.
But it's Shahanshah, not Shahenshah.
It's development name was Shahenshah. I like the e better.
Shalashaska
he's human, after all.
Call it King of Kings if you find it so hard to say.
We all wouldn't be in this awkward situation, if we just called it Scimitar. We could also call it Sheeshkebab.
Call it King of Kings if you find it so hard to say.
Just say something like "Sansaharararaharasa" and everyone will understand anyways.
