You made me get rid of my beloved FrankenHUD. This HUD of yours, additionally, allows my subtitles addon to exist peacefully with the HUD.
Great accidental synergy! Only problem is that the character icon shows a Spy and Scout instead of my current class, but besides that, it looks great.

That's because when the "alpha" was released the 3d hud thing didn't exist yet so therefore the file that is responsible for that is outdated.
To fix that issue you have to remove "hudplayerclass.res" from hud/resource/ui
Alternatively wait until I finish working on the minimal hud and release that.

You can probably consolidate all that information at the top into one box. Color the background black like the "Playing to" panel, and have the border be teamcolored. Then put the "Playing to" text beneath the timer, have it and the timer remain white, but colorize each team's score number against the new black background instead of the current white on colored backgrounds. It should look less busy that way.
I've been playing around with charge bars and am really not sure what to do with them. Of course I could just slap them onto the middle of the screen but I don't want it that way.
While I do like having all the bars in one place I think having the less important information, like hype at the bottom isn't a problem. I got this.

There is a problem though. Having only one top thing equipped centers well. Same for two.

If you have only one meter and equip the soda popper it gets displaced because they're meant to all be in a line. I'll probably have to rethink the positioning completely.

I did notice it looks a bit too cluttered and choppy. The reason I put the playing to on the top was because overtime appears at the bottom and I didn't want them to interfere. I might replace overtime with a border similar to the one arena uses around the clock.
I'll give it a thought.

Yes, that's exactly how I intend it. For now I'll have to make a few versions but later I'll try to program an installer that would let you select which features to include.
Also I'll update the "alpha" soon with the version I'm currently using (minus the heart health).

Nope, the number of things you can change/animate yourself upon certain events happening are very limited.

but i could not stand default with the ugly old font and how bad some of the stuff was

Assuming there's even a difference, are you trying to create a second loadout character, or a second HUD image character? It'd look bad for anyone with the 3D preview disabled if it did work, though.

A loadout preview. Doesn't work though so I think I'll just center the scrollable area and make the frame smaller to only fit the items.
EDIT: To clarify I tried both as they are basically the same thing.

Inherently, the amount the entrance is upgraded is the same as the exit whenever one or the other has finished building. You could possibly merge or remove the exit upgrade bar.

I'll probably have to edit the background to have it accommodate 2 health bars in one space. Originally I was thinking of not using any custom textures to allow people to use skins for default ones, but I doubt anyone would want to reskin the building background so I might just do that.
Edit: Not sure what to do when there's 2 only 1 teleporter built though.
