I'm still on a much earlier HUD version that uses the old style health bar, among other things I'd rather keep. I just want to change the energy bar for the medic's shield so it's like the new HUD. what file do I need to edit for that?
The link doesn't work, I'm getting a "Nothing Here" notice from it.
Should work now. I update it in the op but not that post, my bad. [editline]25th November 2013[/editline]
Same resolution Had the same bug without changing the health indicator. [t]http://i.imgur.com/YseycXS.jpg[/t]
That's supposed to pop up when your health is critical. It's supposed to go away when it's not. Sometimes when you die while critical it stays up. If you want to remove the indicators do this
If you want to get rid of the indicators go to your hud/scripts/ folder and find hud_animations.txt, inside find "RunEvent MiniHealthDisplayShow 0.0" and "RunEvent MiniAmmoDisplayShow 0.0" and remove them.

I'm still on a much earlier HUD version that uses the old style health bar, among other things I'd rather keep. The medic shield uses a file that's shared with other charge bars such as heavy sanvich, soldier banner, scout ball etc. So you'd need to copy huditemeffectmeter.res but it will replace all of them. If you'd like to stay consistent just copy over all charge bars.
now why does it pop up there, that's the strange part to me.
To bring it to your attention, it's much easier to see and it really helps. I mentioned in the op that it's inspired from an old game I used to play http://i.imgur.com/N5ok2jZ.jpg

Edited my post. You need to copy huditemeffectmeter.res, but it will replace all generic charge bars (soldier rage, heavy sandvich, scout ball etc)

Edit: It did work, but I also had to copy over the other hutditemeffect meters for it to actually take effect, for some reason. And yes, it did indeed change them all. They're a bit more of screen real estate hogs than before, but nothing I can't deal with. Much better now, thank you. I'm still getting that rather nasty glitch of the ammo counter being cut in half by the sides of the screen. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=198043252 This works pretty well with full screen at 1360x768, but this is mostly affected by having it in windowed mode at 1280x600 and 1280x720. Getting rid of the ammo count file doesn't seem to fix the problem as I have to remove the scripts, but that also causes more problems. I like your work, I really do, I just think this is kind of an overlooked bug.

It's strange, I haven't see anyone get that before. Add me and I'll see what I can do.
killstreaks dont show up on my scoreboard properly at round end. What's the res file for that so I can try and fix it?

I'll post an update to work with some mvm stuff and killstreaks [del]later today[/del] soon.
