it's definitely full of hot air so far
it's definitely full of hot air so far
It's full of polygons :v:
Are the halloween voice spells not working on servers with forced holiday mode enabled? Was on one last night and my Spy's voice was unchanged despite having Voices From Below on my hat.
Maybe it's not water.
It's never water
I have yet to see a collector's Pyro item. This makes me sad.
http://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/440/Collector%27s%20Backburner%20Chemistry%20Set
but still, it's just a quality it does nothing to change the game except make the collectors jerk more over some items why doesnt valve do anything worthwhile for the game anymore
it'm pretty sure that this is just their attempt at a metal sink. [editline]15th November 2013[/editline]
[t]http://i.imgur.com/p7dAaHP.png[/t] I get the feeling they are working on something. Patience.
those would be hilarious if we got them with new winter maps during christmas or something.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/p7dAaHP.png[/t] I get the feeling they are working on something. Patience.
Throwable gas-filled water balloons for the Pyro for secondary slot. Oh god could you imagine?
I think this was suggested before, but it would be a funny all-class humiliation weapon. Give it a 95% damage penalty so it does like 5 damage, and so that we can use it when we want to humiliate someone who is about to die.
Throwable gas-filled water balloons for the Pyro for secondary slot. Oh god could you imagine?
That Pyro would be near useless in combat since they would be constrained to the mercy of the random flame particle system.
That Pyro would be near useless in combat since they would be constrained to the mercy of the random flame particle system.
Actually if it had a huge AOE like jarate but a short distance and arched, and mini-critted (or critted) on burning players, it could be a fun Pyro toy.
Actually if it had a huge AOE like jarate but a short distance and arched, and mini-critted (or critted) on burning players, it could be a fun Pyro toy.
if it drenches players, it would cause more people to use the neon annihilator instead of axtinguisher.
if it drenches players, it would cause more people to use the neon annihilator instead of axtinguisher.
I didn't think of that. That would basically be Jarate + Bushwacka for Pyro, even more bitching would happen because that frees up the primary slot to whatever they want, like say, the Phlog. Crits, crits everywhere. But then the waterball wouldn't help fill the meter.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/p7dAaHP.png[/t] I get the feeling they are working on something. Patience.
After they added spells... I can imagine that we will get Snowballs on Christmas and Balloons on Summer.
if it drenches players, it would cause more people to use the neon annihilator instead of axtinguisher.
Drenching is completley inferior to burning. Why would anyone want to use a combo that only sets up for crit? Axe combo is easily better since afterburn actually inflicts damage unlike water.
what if you could cover buildings with it and light them on fire, then run the fuck out of there while they continue to burn.
Spoiler alert guys, I think I know what they are... Water Balloons.
Not water, gas bomb! Detonates on burning players. Hit 1 burning player, little damage. Hit 2, mini-crits! Hit 3 or more, CRITS BABY KABOOM.
I may have overlooked something (sorry if I did) but has it been confirmed that there are more than one collectors item/chemistry set of each out there? Either I'm blind or slow, but I haven't seen more than one of each thus far.
More than one of each what? Weapon? Cause there's been a lot of collector's sets showing up for different weapons.
More than one of each weapon/set, I mean, sorry. Since all I've seen on the market is one of each set, and nothing more. Only one. EDIT: Nevermind, second one came on the market + there's doubles on outpost.
Drenching is completley inferior to burning. Why would anyone want to use a combo that only sets up for crit? Axe combo is easily better since afterburn actually inflicts damage unlike water.
we don't know if you have to choose yet. what if you can be drenched and burning at the same time? it works for jarate even though it douses teammates.
if it drenches players, it would cause more people to use the neon annihilator instead of axtinguisher.
If waterballoons were available to all classes like spells for an event or something, it would be useful for the neon annihilator. However it wouldn't be useful as a secondary for Pyro, because it would basically be like a nerfed version of jarate that doesn't give teammates mini-crits and that serves almost no use to yourself (aside from exstinguishing teammates from a distance) if you don't have the neon annihilator equipped.
Drenching is completley inferior to burning. Why would anyone want to use a combo that only sets up for crit? Axe combo is easily better since afterburn actually inflicts damage unlike water.
There is only one upside to drenching compared to afterburn, and that is that there are no means of removing the "wet" effect before it has dried out.
There is only one upside to drenching compared to afterburn, and that is that there are no means of removing the "wet" effect before it has dried out.
Well if Valve wanted to be lazy, airblast would still work. Like an instant blast of heated air.
Well if Valve wanted to be lazy, airblast would still work. Like an instant blast of heated air.
Blow-dryers never get you completely dry though
It would also be a pretty unnecessary and massively asshole thing to do to people who use the annihilator. It seriously feels like people think EVERYTHING useful to Pyro is instantly unbalanced and unfair to every other class. I don't see any suggestions to have the airblast remove jarate or mad milk.

If they made a water balloon thing that wet players, I would hate to have a "dries with airblast" effect.
I hope a kunai one shows up. I need it.
YES! http://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/440/Collector%27s%20Conniver%27s%20Kunai%20Chemistry%20Set 50€? oh okay, there goes that dream.
