Cool video, covered some good points To add to the "easier to airshot with demo or soldier" discussion Just keep playing you'll eventually get used to players movement and then be able to predict them fairly easily, small tip, watch for what happens when you launch them, if you can quickly react to the direction they take off at you can just flick and you'll hit them, takes time to learn the distance and speed of a flick needed as it changes depending on your range from the target

I've been trying to do some aerials on some stickyjumping demomen today. Damn, it's hard as [b]fuck[/b].

[QUOTE=Soul-Chicken;26659034]IMO it's harder to Airshot with demoman.[/QUOTE] Airshotting as a Demoman is easier for a couple reasons, namely pipes fly faster than rockets from the RL and also are easier to hit with (this isn't a preference thing, pipes literally have a bigger hitbox than rockets do and connect in stupid ways if you slow the game down in a local game, they look really silly).

I enjoy black boxing on smaller CP maps. In places like Gravel Pit B the black box is a god send for me! Combined with the shotgun it's unbelievably good at locking down the roof and you can pretty much let it rain rockets. The lack of health kits in the area + black box means your ammo will be the only problem and there's plenty of that around the point and even more if you're killing all the flying demos. Not only does it let me hold out for insanely long amounts of time, it's also a great courtesy to the Scouts (not so much now with them milking themselves at the first sight of danger) and Medics who will be needing them much more than I will. The rush to mid takes a bit of practice on some maps with only 3 rockets but if you can get it down it's great for holding it down as the HP boost can help wall the lighter classes that usually show up. In short I think the Black Box is far from an upgrade, but definitely a worthy side-grade for my play style. Also gotta understand that you can't be airshotting everyone with only 3 rockets! Shotgunning them out of the sky is almost always the better choice with the Black Box. Anyway, fantastic video! Truly amazing and [b]very[/b] informative.

I felt like expanding on my views,the black box does have it's uses, during a highlander match only three hours ago, I used it for a bit to support me while used the pain train to move the cart faster, I tended to go through rockets faster, but generally I found I was doing just as fine as I normally did for anything under a heavy. Then again, I have little experience outside of highlander competitive play.

panda, you should make one more. one that covers how to deal with all classes, namely pyro, worst case and best case senarios, and then i'd think you're done. i honestly have died to a pyro without landing a shot on him. Oh and today i airshotted a demo camping out spawn :D
