Why does the Spy HUD still have the beta Spy on it?
cp_process, I know comp players love that map and I see it like seemingly every other recent comp video, it's a good map too. Also I really hope they fix more than map exploits and actually change some of the maps that have some poor design. It seems part of the blog post imply it, but other parts make me go "I am just reading into to it too much". Because a gameplay update (read: not weapons, hats) is more important than anything right now. We have enough gimmicky weapons and hats, but the core of the gameplay feels restricted on most TF2 maps.

It has a lot of potential but as it stands now the way bots get to the final point is really bland and a bit buggy at times. That being said I would love to see it get in in a more polished state.

I'm more excited for the bug patches and weapon fixes more than anything else. As an engineer main, I will miss the exploit spots.

If you can get a tele up there then the base comes together and a wrangler will do the rest.

I love this blog post, it's great news that Valve is focusing on maps again with this update. There are only three points instead of 5, and the points are arranged differently. There is a center point, a left point and a right point, all three are about the same distance from your spawn. Your team need to have all three capped to win (though you can win if you have all three capped but the enemy is trying to cap your point). I've really enjoyed it the few times I've played it.
About the sentry spots, I think they'll not patch ALL the spots. I mean, they released new maps since the Engineer Update, and I see no reason to "fix" things on the maps that came out after it. I guess they'll just change the older maps.

And that means getting into places where it is hard for the other team to get past and destroy your defences, but to bad the TF2 team is going to block a lot of them off.
I think we're all missing a very important part of this blog post. [img]http://media.steampowered.com/steam/news/11023/badwater_1.jpg[/img] You see that Demoman? It is not unlikely that this picture was taken from a round of nothing but Valve employees. That means that someone at Valve that works on the TF2 team, who has access to every single one of the cosmetic items in the game, chooses to dress that way. Simply shocking.
I think the sniper in the back with the razorback is the most interesting.
