wow I didn't know gold wore down and broke after using it to much. Learn something new erryday. But this makes sense. The blog did say they keep them for "a lifetime" which I find odd as that could mean it has something to do with the player dieing or the wrench itself, breaking.

But anyway, how rare it is makes it even more likely to be a ploy. It's like the Medal, but if the whole community knew about it but not how to get it. Only time will tell anyway
