The site on at the top of the loch-n-load is off too. (Clipping)
It's not valve that's lazy, but the guy who submitted the model. Looks like he just used the normal grenade launcher animations for the hands and body.
I'm fine with the bombs shattering with the LaL, but I wish the bombs didn't dissapear with the generic spark particles. Instead, I wish there were a few small grenade gibs (sort of like when the Razorback breaks) that would fly off from where the grenade hit.

I'd say maybe something like this: -50% Clip Size +10-20 Damage Dealt -30% Blast Radius +10% Projectile Speed +Charging the Loch n' Load makes the projectile go faster, at full charge it fires both pipes. Pipes Explode on contact Thoughts?

I thought it was a really good weapon. Until I switched back to the grenade launcher and realized you can do the exact same thing, with a larger clip size, and bounce them around walls. The grenades need to explode when they come into contact with surfaces AT LEAST.
I'd say: -50% clip size +10% damage done -10% blast radius Both pipes can be launched simultaneously, holding either mouse button will charge the pipes, making them fly faster and further. -25% slower reload time

I was disappointed when I crafted it. I thought that by the way the description said it, it would simply explode on any surface, like walls and stuff. Instead, it makes freaking sparks and vanishes.

They didn't even change the damn gun sound.
I think we can all agree that the loch-n-load is broken and WILL be fixed in the future. Hopefully it won't be "fixed" in the same way they "fixed" natascha.

I kind of feel this is a subtle way of showing TF2's slow decline in quality. Don't get me wrong, the gameplay and everything is as good as ever, but little things like animations and view models keep getting shittier. It's always the things that don't have an effect on the actual game, but the things that people notice.
I think valve were trying to be careful not to end up just giving demomen a rocket launcher
And no one is even the slightest bit pissed that after 3 years valve hasn't fixed the fucking grenade launcher model?

Valve should pay more attention to fixing minor problems rather than adding more half-finished items to the game.
When I saw this particular weapon, right from the original entry, I was almost certain that it would function like a bastard child of the Grenade Launcher and the FaN: Clicking once sets off both "barrels" at the same time, followed by an annoying reload. Spike damage vs overall damage and whatnot. Of course, that would've required the TF2 team to make a reload animation which actually fits the thing...

Why can't they just make it do very little damage on a miss? So it's best to get direct hits, but you can try to finish off weaker enemies by shooting at their feet.
