He looks like an evil villain now :D I'd request a tophat to go with it but I realized that such might be a bit overdone by now :(
Enough with the tophats. :bang:
Enough with the tophats. :bang:
Yeah, I sort of realized mid-way through making it. I need something more creative.
The hats already been made. It's 5 months old actually.

Galago, I think your one looks better.
Yay for mustaches!
tophat+pipe
tophat+pipe
The pipe would fail with faceposing. Come to think of it, the monocle probably would to. Experienced hat-makers, have any suggestions?

Is anyone working on a Jiggleboned Toque?
I want a fully jiggleboned Pyro. Florp :3:
May I direct ddsn to:

I made my toque request right before the emporium v1 closed down and I think it may have gotten lost in the transition. Sparkwire graciously said he'd work on it, but it sounds like he's got bigger plans at the moment, so I am reposting my request, in case someone else would like to pick it up. Ever since the second round of hats was released, it bothered me that the Toque's ear flaps stuck out straight like they had wire in them. I was hoping someone would be willing to make a jiggle-boned model (or whatever else could get the job done) of the toque where the flaps would be actually covering the ears, but whenever the heavy jumped or fell, they would kind of float up to the area they are now. The pom pom moving might be amusing as well. If anyone is having trouble picturing it, think the two ammo packs on the soldier's hips when he falls. Thanks
I could try it tomorrow, but no promises.

Damn it.
Why not give him a little toupee, More evil villain like.
Well bald fits just fine :3 But if not using a tophat... the only other hat I could find that would remotely fit would something along the lines of Spy's billycock... This might be an unusual request, but can someone post a link to a tutorial on unwrapping a model in 3ds max? I've been meaning to learn, and can't find anything good, or English at all. Most of the tutorials I find are either Spanish or Brazilian. *hint* My next model is something you can, pull, twist, maybe bop?
Can you guys make that Daft Punk hat, please?
30 more posts, no new hats.
As a person was kind enough in the TF2 comics thread to help me locate a specific image... Could someone do this hat for Pyro? [editline]11:57PM[/editline] (I think that's his own boot)

Basically, what you want to do is deconstruct the model as evenly as possible. Add a "UVW Unwrap" modifier and choose face selection. Then grab a chunk of the model (as pictured) and hit pelt. If pelt doesn't work for that particular section, then try some of the other settings like spherical or cylindrical. You know you've done it right when none of the green lines are crossing. Then you need to fit every unwrapped piece nicely into the blue box that you see when you press edit. When that's done, hit Tools > Render UVW Template > Render UVW Template (again) > Save. I'm currently working on a Pyro Tennis map.

Atleast I still have a pc to game on.

Nice :v: Did you make that or did someone make it ages back :O?
Since the Heavy has boxing gloves, how about this?
Nice :v: Did you make that or did someone make it ages back :O?
I made it in 2 minutes by taking his foot and putting it on his head. I think I will make a real one though, with a better model.
Nice, please make it jiggleboned... I know I nag, sorry... but the idea of the pyro with a boot on his head swaying from side to side as he move is just rather humorous to me :P
Reposting because it seems like it would be of some referencing use.
