You don't need quotes around basetexture so try $basetexture "half-life 2 episode two\ep2\materials\test\test" If that doesn't work, make sure the vtf is put on the model before exporting.

I'm learning how to skin now, and I'm working on a test model. If anyone wants to give me a few tips, that might be nice, I'm new. Don't expect anythig soon, but then again, who would, I'm jsu tsome random fuck who like these threads and wants to get involved.

1) Is it possible to edit bodygroups? Because if we can we can have the Scouter as not only the earpiece but as an easier way to have it on the left ear (the correct side to wear the Scouter) 2) Is it possible to make a hat that automatically hooks itself to an admin? That can solve some confusion. Plus that can be pretty cool. 3) I have one other hat request. Can someone make the scarf that Scout wears in the Christmas card photo? If it replaces the Batter's Helmet, is jiggleboned, and has team colored stripes it would make me happy.

(like in saving private ryan) they used tanks with a flammable substance, wich was carried on the back of the soldier holding the flamethrower the tank on the back of the pyro is a tank with a flammable substance.
