The modelers in this thread also refuse to replace the Ghastly Gibus with the Scotsman's Stove Pipe on every class, but you take what you get.
We also refuse stupid boring ideas
it does in hlmv.
I just ended up with invisible hats and a shitload of console errors.
The Scotsman's Stove Pipe is only modeled to work on the Demoman. If i renamed the files, it'd be an out of place Stove Pipe sitting inside classes' heads. Haven't you ever played on an Equipment Manager server? Or at least one of the heavily-modded servers where everyone has a demo afro on by default. Not all of that hats fit on all classes properly
Come on, take that freaking it hour it takes to get the milkshape trial version, the compilers and do it yourself. I know I'm kinda insulting myself here, but if I can do it, anyone can learn how to do it. If weren't for that I'm "busy" with L4D stuff I'd do it to show it off.
moving so it doesnt get missed.
Oh fuck yes. Will DL.
moving so it doesnt get missed.
Seems a little large in comparison to the sniper's body, but one would question how he could get his head stuck in a jar any smaller. I like it. Would be even funnier if he were wearing a snorkel or breathing apparatus in the piss. But still awesome!
finally got this jigglebone stuff down.
It's like an episode of some stop motion cartoon. Somehow accentuates the hilarity of it all. Also, do you have plans for making the jar break upon being headshotted?

Holy crap it's Sparkwire from FPSB.
Holy crap it's Sparkwire from FPSB.
Old news... i'd rate you late but... i decide not to.
Old news... i'd rate you late but... i decide not to.
It's okay, I'll do it.
Not everything anyone asks for get made. If they aren't hard to do, why don't you do it yourself?
I explained why two pages ago. My main computer is busted and this laptop isn't strong enough to handle a 3d model making program.
I demand a Tek Jansen medic.
I explained why two pages ago. My main computer is busted and this laptop isn't strong enough to handle a 3d model making program.
Hold on, so you're saying that running a 3D model making program, is more memory intensive than running TF2 itself? BOYS WE HAVE A LIAR, or maybe someone lazy....it's okay to say that your lazy, everyone gets lazy
I explained why two pages ago. My main computer is busted and this laptop isn't strong enough to handle a 3d model making program.
That's what I keep saying about this piece-o-shit laptop that I'm using until my GOOD computer gets fixed. Hell, I had to go over to my friend's house and use his computer to get the screenshots for my Black Mesa Ringer Meter, as this computer won't even run Steam. Everyone still says 'Oh my god! You haven't done any modelling! You suck ballz!'.
Can I tell you your stuff sucks? My stuff has quite a load of downloads.
Yes, NeoDement. You can. But I can do two things. A: I can say 'I reject your reality and substitute my own!' and B: I can point out that my 'suckish stuff that nobody will download' is being downloaded.
I'm not downloading your stuff because it's plain, to be honest. Do something creative, please.
Yay it's not jello anymore.
I'm not downloading your stuff because it's plain, to be honest. Do something creative, please.
I never said everyone downloaded it. But I have gotten some downloads, thus disproving the 'no one will download theory'. I'm not reading your post because it's unhelpful, to be honest. Do something constructive, please.
stop making excuses and get to fucking work
stop making excuses and get to fucking work
I don't know what to make i have one i have to finish, spy spotter from ages ago, but i can't be bothered, i wanna play Mario Kart Double Dash. -OH WAIT, my scout ball replacement, ill finish that today.
stop making excuses and get to fucking work
Guess what? Since I think the Black Mesa meter is good, I'm going to make more skins like that. I haven't gotten any ideas for improvement, so I assume that everyone wants my skins to stay the same. Hint: 'Be creative!' and 'You suck!' and 'N00B!' aren't helpful suggestions. I'm working on NOTHING until I get the effing constructive criticism! And my parents wonder artists usually quit after one painting.....
We did give you criticism, constructive ones at that. You just dismissed them because you couldn't accomplish them.

He says he wants something original and new, he's not necessarily saying it's bad, just it's been done before.
We did give you criticism, constructive ones at that. He said 'The most important step to being a good critic is to offer improvement. But remember: start with small suggestions and work your way up to the big ones once people have benefited from the small ones.'

People then told you how to make it better, you did, and you've benefited from them (downloads). Now it's time for big suggestions.
There aren't that many "small" suggestions for texturing when all you're doing is just erasing the original texture and just slapping on a new one.
Last I remember, the Black Mesa Ringer wasn't perfect. People then told you how to make it better, you did, and you've benefited from them (downloads). Now it's time for big suggestions.
But all I've gotten in recent posts is 'You suck, dickhead!'. Therefore, nobody wants me to do anything at all, it seems. Plus, as I have horrible memory, I need reminders of what these mythical suggestions were. And don't ask for some incredible feat of modelling. Hell, as I'm new to modelling, don't ask for anything that requires more than minimal modelling. Count yourself lucky that I have a splitting headache and need an ibuprofen.
Oh I forgot that this is the reality where you can learn new techniques by practicing things that you already knew. Here's a suggestion for that dead ringer: let's put a shine to that Black Mesa logo, make it all shiny to fit with the gold texture of the DR. Can you do that or is it too bizarre of a change from what you were currently doing?

I can't be sure, as this backup computer I'm using is so crappy that I can't watch youtube videos. (my good computer short-circuited.)
