I understand why he'd be hosting the server, what I don't understand is how he wasn't prepared for going over bandwidth.

I stand by my opinion that neckbeard should be unbanned. He gave logical arguments and merely gave them a tongue lashing to get to the bottom of things. It seemed as if he was just trying to leech with no real credible sources of his debt. Pestering Garry over a matter from his forums is not smart at all. We have to rely on Xomp's decision on whether or not he was innocent. He seems like a jerk if he really called neckbeard a troll for providing valid arguments on the matter.

We should have done the mature thing and ignore the ban or ban them on our servers but considering this is Facepunch, maturity is non existent. Also the server owner is either lying about being 32 with 5 children and unemployed, or he is lying partially about it.

It is our fault for raiding his servers and causing him a a debt but we have no proof at the moment. It is also his fault for deciding to ban a whole group of players (some thousands) just because a few decided to troll his servers. The owner also seems to act like a douche on the matter demanding payment with no proof at all and his story about unemployment and 5 children seems strange. I blame the idiots on the forum who really raided (not neckbeard) and not acting like mature people and giving them a good reason to unblock. They most likely unblocked us in fear of this happening again.

From reading those PM's and posts, that guy sounds like a major tool.

Yeah, wasn't a good idea to block the entire FP group, but that's nothing compared to what they did to his servers and site.
