A very few amount of Facepunchers apparently went on the dudes servers and trolled them hard.
Guy has a facepunch member make a script that bans ALL of facepunch from the [b]2[/b] servers
Guy finds out and posts the guys site, facepunch gets fucking pissed
Neckbeard makes a account and tries to be rational torwards them saying that it's not fair to everyone and explaining why it's dumb.
Neckbeard posts the sign up and tells people to go be rational and explain why it's dumb.
People take what he says, joins, and posts dicks, goatse etc fucking everywhere taking down the server on the forums. Neckbeard has long abandoned ship as facepunch was being retarded.
Not content a few of the [i]most mature people ever[/i] decided that the forum wasn't enough and attacked the servers.
After those went down they got bored and attacked the steam profile page
Guy returns home and finds out and says he will sue everyone forever.
After this fails to scare people he makes up a story about 5 kids and not having a job which is one of the biggest lies ever. He then demands money. Then this happened

Yeah pretty much. But along with Neckbeard, like 15 other people or so kept making rational posts on the BBB forum but they were being ignored for like an hour except by one admin who was being rather dumb. Then from what I remember, before the forum went down, one guy was posting dick spam (don't remember who) and then it crashed. Then, as you said, they moved on to the servers (not most of the rational people such as Neckbeard.)
I can understand DDoSing the RIAA or something like that but an independent community like this? This is just wrong. I hope Facepunchers will be more mature from here on out; behavior like this is uncalled for.

What people do outside of facepunch should not be of any concern to the admins and moderators. I don't see people getting banned for tax evasion here so why should it be any different with other things.
However, posting messages that encourage doing bad things should be prohibited.
