Question. Trying to make a Sandwich replacement and I'm stuck on body groups. I have the reference model the bread model and the bread with the bite in it. How exactly to I get this puppy to work in game? No luck yet finding the info out on the net.

The importer compressed the texture, so even with 512x512 it looks bad. I'm working on a fix that'll essentially redo how its face looks that the Emporium chat recommended.

They're on high, and even in SFM it looked like that. I sorta grew used to it and saw it as like it was actually charred, so it never bothered me.
The importer's compression does weird things. For my moth, the one that goes through the importer creates white lines that flow next to the paintable designs on it, ruining how it looks from a distance with paint.
that's not the importer, that's mipmapping
no offense but I suspect your texture looking bad is the result of a poor UV, there aren't really any hats in TF2 that need to be larger than a 512*512 (some hats have 2 textures and some older hats have bigger textures, but let's not go into that)
