You have to specify the model path of the idle smd. So it would be $sequence idle "C:\User\Documents\Modeling\SourceFolder\turn.smd" fps 15.00 autoplay loop

This looks insanely good, and for some reason, it has sort of a Batman villain feel to it.
Just spent a little while making a mouth interior for the Demon head. Think I have something that might make Facial Flex possible. :)

You won't be able to get SMD sequences to work with the importer. You can trick it to work but when Valve come to test it won't work because the files needed will be missing.

Considering the mass of emails and submissions, which will be well over a hundred by the deadline, would you all like to see some good old fashioned quality assurance?
We won't leave anyone out, that is, unless your one submission is just an absolute disaster. Everyone is guaranteed at least one item in the site, along with links to their workshop to see other items.

well, i got rid of the edge wear and removed some brush strokes so its less noisy.
i have no idea if i did good or not, so does anyone have suggestions?

Not liking that indent where the belt and buckle meet, it shows that you extruded the face way too much.
Is there occlusion on any of it?

re-did it so the ao took the bottles into account, so the sides are darker
i also added a gradient so the flap is lighter than the bottom of the bag.

If the texture for the potion is fairly big, I'd recommend on adding some form of detail to it. That, and to adjust the UV on one of the corks so it doesn't look obviously mirrored. Other than that, I like it a lot.
I am also facing a predicament since I apparently have no clue of what I'm doing.

I got ahold of the alien's model, and apparently his head isn't shaped like a helmet. Since you all will be the ones downloading it, I need your opinions on which to keep
Since the deadline is still a while yet, I decided to try and make more stuff. I thought it'd be interesting to make ghostly armor for Demo, like some sort of curse or something. It's far from done, but I think it could look cool if done right. Maybe top it off with ghost armor and a ghost sword?
