• Would you like a Story mode?

I don't think a story mode would fit with the overall style of the game imo.
I just had this picture in my mind that all the real classes were sort of like bosses, like after destroying a huge amount of german soldiers he walks away in a cinematic only hear the shout. "Oooooh, soldaaaat!" and spins around to block a bunch of syringes with his shovel, the medic does his glove snap while saying "Ooops" [the medic is in a nazi SS uniform] the soldier shouts "You swine of a german MAGGOT! Pain is NOTHING, your days as a doctor are finished!" Then the fight happens like the medic summons germans and runs around on an upper walkway shooting syringes and dropping acid beakers that stop you moving around too much. Yes, the campaign should be as stylized and cliche as possible just like the game itself. Just a strange idea I had in my head.
Demoman's level would be all Irish highlander style. And the enemies would have bagpipes that shoot pipe bombs.
Good idea. This is irrelevant, but how do you start a poll?
It would have to be too much like Unreal Tournament for it to work I think. Like just doing offline matches with a semi-story behind each.
Isn't the CPs all related together
Hell yeah! You could cycle through the stories of the different classes, learning more about their beginnings and what events had happened before they signed up for RED or BLU. I think this would be a single player game, it just seems like it to me.
After giving it some thought, I have concluded that Valve should just make a full-length movie adaptation of the comic books.
It should be like if Valve made Borderlands!
People have a tendency to judge games solely on the single player portion if one is offered. The game came out years ago, but still. It happened with Bad Company 2, and it happened with Condition Zero. I would still enjoy a campaign mode, however.
Maybe there should be a short episode for each class. Like the Soldier totally killing Nazis.
IF they do it should be like you go through all the classes lie story?
Well if it would get Source Film Maker out sooner then by all means. On a serious note No.
9-player coop campaign.
This. Against some bots or have a custom map with some puzzle or escape just like back in TFC would be great.
Only if it didnt change the multiplayer at all.
Maybe on TF3 :v: Seriously, I would like a story mode... sounds interesting. TF2 has a awesome background.
Saxton Hale should be the boss. He'll have lasers that shoot from each one of his chest hairs, creating an Australian shaped MEGA CHEST HAIR LASER BEAM
It will be very intresting, 9 different campaigns, every for each class. Heavy's Campaign in Big Sandvich Factory
They've already got a world layout (or at least part of it) worked out.
Yes! Character backstories. Would be awesome if Valve designed a toddler version of the Scout.
Demoman's level would be all Irish highlander style. And the enemies would have bagpipes that shoot pipe bombs.
I know I'm pretty late, but this pisses me off. The Demoman's Scottish, not Irish. Get it right, it bugs the shit out of me.
no

No, but not for the reason because I hate story modes, it just wouldn't work
I think that if story modes will be inserted, the spy's story would be a bit like splinter cell, wouldn't it?
Obviously you need to buy Splinter Cell Conviction to get the campaign.
It must be terribly difficult for you to support your answer. Post something constructive.
It doesn't need one, and besides they're a bit far into this game to add this don't you think?
