I hate the standard viewmodels, they block the entire screen. For most classes I just turn it off. Sniper is one of the few classes I play that still have the viewmodel on, and its FoV is 90.
Default.
85.
I use to play with 25 when I'm playing scout and I'm at a lan. People always comes up to my computer and wonder what skin it is and why it looks like a double barreled rocket launcher and I say it's a secret valve weapon.
I use around the middle of the slider, which is around 62 for me. Default isn't that bad but I like it a little higher.
However, in the case of Left 4 Dead 2...well....increasing the viewmodel FOV is pretty much a neccessity for me. The weapons are way to close to the screen.
80. Something about seeing the whole rocket launcher I guess.
Default viewmodel.
Also minimalised HUD, no damage indicators, none of that modded bullshit either that only ruins the original beauty of the game.
Different for all classes. I wonder if its possible to make them different for all weapons.
55 or 65

You can yeah search for Admirables Crosshair changer, you can set different viewmodels and crosshairs for each class and each weapon
Some where around 60.
realism in tf2?
:mmmhmm:
I'm trying to make as real as it can get before the whole universe goes into spontaneous combustion.
Maximum. It's like I'm resting the weapon on my enemy's heads.
Not my screenshot, but you get the idea.

Thats my picture. :v:
I use that just to fuck around.
Its 120.
I'm running the game on a widescreen so I just leave it at default.
Highest setting for both, but got viewmodels turned off so I don't see the messed up arms

I got it and for some reason after doing all of the models, they are way out in the view. They look like they are 150 or so.
Wasting a post to say: Default.
Everything else just seems weird to me.
Also TF2 should have a fisheye option. That would be cool, if a bit hard.
110 for me.
I'm playing with 300, its really hard compared to what you're used to and it looks fun on screenshots too.

90 on mosts classes, 110 on Soldier's rocket Launcher.
Personally, I play at low FOV because I want to feel that the weapon is in my hands, not sticking out of the enemy's face.

To make it more fun, play on your own server.
sv_gravity -1 in console.
Enjoy upside down fortress.

I must try this sometime.
I'm using different viewmodels for each weapons and for each class.
Soldier -> Rocket launcher, 90 - Shotgun, 54 - Shovel, 54
Sniper -> Rifle, 65 - SMG, 54 - Kukri, 54
Scout -> Scattergun, 65 - Pistol 54, Bat, 54
Demoman -> Grenade Launcher, 75 - Sticky Launcher, 75 - Bottle, 54
All the other classes, 54.
Also with FoV 90.
90, but it would be much better if you couldn't see through your own hands in some situations, like when heavy spins down his minigun, and when the sniper uses the SMG you can see through his arm.
most weapons are better off with r_drawviewmodel 0
I actually tweaked that cross hair switcher script so each weapon has it's own fov (and its set to the maximum juuuuuuuuuuuuust before things start looking funny).
54 or 48
I like to see the little details.
