Is it that hard to enjoy the game and not obsess about it?
It is for some people. Have you SEEN the Call of Duty fanbase?

Well, that's understandable, haha. Still, obsession's never healthy guys.
0,50 $ for what? For sticky jumper do nothing? No thanks. You need to pay 4$ to get the newest weapons.
the sticky jumper is the best demo weapon i ever gotten. ever. I can fly across the map after planting a 4-8 Sticky bomb formation, raining grenades down on my foes and then chop someones head off when i land with my battleaxe it's a amazing feeling.
It is for some people. Have you SEEN the Call of Duty fanbase?
off-topic but: Yesterday on Facepunch server a guy called ^2LEGION said "noob team" and "grenade launcher - noob mode". i thought he was a troll but he has 400 hours in MW2 and a generic avatar. http://steamcommunity.com/id/Son_of_Pallas_and_Styx Only 14 hours in TF2 and he insults his teammates :colbert: After you play COD you see how the TF2 community is awesome.
I thought that Valve has a community that makes things for them. So the Christmas update has Valve`s weapons?

I had TF2 and I was happy. But eventually, I gave into peer pressure from my mates and purchased it. Most wasteful thing I've ever done.
The only thing I find disastrous for the game at the moment are vintage and unusual items. It literally destroyed the whole idea of trading. People don't look for the items because they actually LIKE them but because of their rarity or special value. There is a difference between painting your hat to customize your character and giving out all your items for a stupid particle effects that makes you feel more 1337. Or for a bunny head, because it's rare so it must be cool. I suppose it's directly associated with the elitism in community. Trading itself is ok because it allowed us to give the hat we don't like to a person that likes it and receive a hat WE like in exchange. But what if the mentioned person has no defined taste, only judges stuff by the color of its name and the same Dapper Topper is complete shit if it's regular but suddenly becomes the best thing on Earth when it gets a circling TF2 logo? Seriously.
sometimes I go mad and craft all my non Polycount hats together and see what i get. I really don't care about hats besides the set bonus ones.
but look on the bright side... at least for me, i got an unusual, so i can sell it to the massive amounts of retarded money spending freaks for real dosh! :)
Oh my god this thread is a complete contradiction of the point it's trying to make. Seriously everyone shut the bloddy help up, everytime there's a thread anti-polycount or anti-store or anti-whatevertheflyingcrap another thread will pop up to counter that, and then another 5 threads to counter that thread, and seriously it doesn't stop. Everyone shut up and play the damn game, stop with every thread like this.
My 2p on people's moaning: Valve deserve a bit of wallet lining, to be honest. They've been (and still are) shipping free updates for a 3 year old game. So there's microtransactions. Big whoop, they're not exactly necessary, as the new stuff will be droppable soon. TL;DR: Shut up, stop moaning.
