Hod do I stop download?! HOW DO I STOP DOWNLOAD?! Sticky Jumper, don't die on me now!! :(
Not the stickies! Noooo! Oh well, haven't sticky jumped with 3+ stickies in a while so meh. =/
2 is enough to pull off everything I do so... eh. Nothing changing me.

Perhaps this will lead to the end of all the new or uninformed players trying to kill people with the sticky jumper as well. Their looks of horror as eight stickies detonate under my feet and as the smoke clears, I step out unscathed smack them with my shovel.

I'm sorry, but you all are acting like a bunch of crybabies now. Sticky pogos are still doable and pretty much all areas in the game can be accessed with 2 stickies, unless you're trying to do a crazy jump across Thunder Mountain or Lakeside, which I'm pretty sure you can still do by pogoing. I'm not sure why Valve did this, but it's not as bad as you're making it out to be.
I have seen worse changes, but still, it sucks

I'm not sure why Valve did this, but it's not as bad as you're making it out to be.[/QUOTE] you're forgetting custom maps there are a lot of custom maps that had areas that could only be reached through sticky jumping not to mention there are jump maps designed for more then 2 stickies to be out my point is there was nothing wrong with the jumper in the first place it was a downgrade but it was fun to use and now valve managed to fuck that up tell me one problem there was with the sticky jumper before this nerf. there weren't any. sure, you could get almost anywhere in the map, but you were also getting rid of demoman's most versatile and useful weapon

Even if there was a quick fix Medic on you, I wouldn't be too confident jumping with only 215 health. In fact, most of your arguments seem to be cherrypicked and you're using special cases to justify giving the Sticky Launcher more stickies out. No matter how you look at it, jumping with more than 3 stickies is not the optimal way to go about. Even more, fall damage is not calculated by height, but by velocity, so even if it isn't a long fall, your super fast propulsion powers would kill you if you landed without pro strafing. Although the Sticky Jumper is fun, its main purpose is to help people learn the basics of sticky jumping. Sticky jumping with 3 stickies, even if they're not for maximum damage, just isn't something you would normally practice even if you managed to get a Medic and calculate your fall. they nerfed my SJ ok valve, at least let people with it get the fucking INTEL now. orrrr make people with it take no fall damage Anything to make it still useful.
Ignoring things like custom maps and jump maps (using the sticky jumper on jump maps???), on those maps where sticky jumper play is usual, (i.e. Hightower, Harvest, Badwater, Thunder Mountain and that sandy Koth map) I've still been able to zoom from one spot to another with two stickies. Really not seeing the anguish people are going through.
