Engineer Update: Day Two - Games

I love how the radar-sentry-pointing gun is more of a sidegrade.

This latest blogpost felt really predictable. Everyone pretty much knew we were going to be able to control our sentries. Nonetheless, it looks like a fucking blast to use. Also, from the looks of the achievements, doesn't look like any new amazing tech is on the way. Maybe just that guitar, which I imagine one of the big trade offs is damage or it might just be a taunt for one of the new weapons.

When you control the sentry, do you control it via a camera on the sentry, or do you actually have to point at enemies?

The only thing I want to know is: Is the wrangler a LOCK ON type thing, where you lock onto people yourself, or is it a POINT AND SHOOT type thing, where the sentry shoots no matter if anything is there. I hope to god POINT and SHOOT

That would also mean the Engie gets less items overall anyway. I suspect they have a backlog of Engie community items, along with their own designs they will impliment. Hopefully this means that the engie will get [i]plenty[/i] of items to catch up.

The guitar is going to be a new shotgun, and the PDQ will be the new wrench. Rate informative.
