Engineer Update: Day Two - Games

Well, the only thing i hate was that frontier justice was a shotgun instead of a rifle. Would've been cool to set it to the western theme, but whatever, An unlock is still an unlock.

At least two more days to wait. First there are weapon days, then there go building. Perhaps...

I'm actually kinda sad there's no lasso for the engineer. That'd be so awesome to drag someone towards their imminent doom.

I don't think there'll be a change in Engi buildings. If you go to the Engi's equipment, there is no option to replace PDAs. But if there is, i think it'll be a set instead of swapping individual buildings.

I'm seriously doubting that there'll be buildings in this update.

I'm actually kind of disappointed that we can't control the sentry through it's eyes. Because it's less directly controlling it, and more telling where to shoot.

And I am also interested- how engie could control the sentry? I mean, 3rd person or 1st person? Also, engie would be defenseless and a very easy target for spies. This thread is moving at speed of light(1.8x10^12 posts per second.)

I imagine the easiest way to control it properly while avoiding that you accidentally kill yourself, is probably to stand on top of it.

I'm thinking the barbecue dispenser might get in, if Valve can come up with a good function... However I'm not so certain we will get any new sentries. The new sentries modeled are either too function based or they don't fit in aesthetically.

Rate me late, but maybe the Guitar won't be a melee weapon but another Pistol unlock since sitting around with the Guitar while the Sentries do their job is pretty much the opposite of the Wrangler. This way we also all get to keep our Wrenches.

I imagine that kill icon we saw a while back is probably the one Wrangler will be using when the Engineer uses it to kill an enemy.
