Engineer Update: Day Two - Games

[/B]The Guitar will be a secondary item set up like a lunchbox, as it cannot be a melee item for it'd replace the wrench and make it so you can't upgrade or repair your sentry guns. [B]2. [/B]The Guitar is a killtaunt for the Wrangler or some other item. Engineer plays the guitar for a second, then el kerblonk's some darn fool. Either one is possible. But trust me, it won't be a melee item. Unless it has some kind of freaky Repair Node effect of repairing and upgrading buildings in a radius while taunting with an evenly distributed ammount of metal. ... Actually that is fuckin' genius, why didn't I think of that? ... Damnit, fellas.

It PROBABLY won't be a taunt. Why? They won't make a new model JUST FOR A TAUNT. Actually, I don't even think it's possible to attach a separate non-weapon model to a taunt. (The soldier's rocket is a bodygroup)

I would only see the guitar being a buff banner like item. Something that you fill up and let the music fly.

Everyone arguing about the guitar not being the wrench replacement forgot one thing; the guitar can have any special effect on it that results in the sentry magically building itself.

[/QUOTE] I still don't think there is a good enough reason for it to not be a melee replacement. Sure, it can't upgrade or repair buildings, but not all engineer players do that. As in, battle engies. It could have some other usefulness to it, that would benefit those who don't care about turtling and upgrading, and just build a level 1 sentry. Buildings don't need to be higher than level 1 to be efficient, you know. How many times do I have to say this? You don't NEED to upgrade your buildings. :colbert: And pulling a guitar out of your ass just for a taunt seems even more retarded to me.
