A theory, but since a Guitar cant upgrade buildings, maybe the Guitar is a diffrent set of non-levelable teleporters, dispensers and sentry guns that replaces the wrench.

Well, it can't have anything to do with the Golden wrench, or that achievement is gonna be hard as hell to get. You'd need to join a modded server just to get it. I think you'd need to pick up the Engie's wrench, and use it to upgrade your sentry or something. We'll find out later.
