Can I get a little more elaboration?
Can I get a little more elaboration?

How do I avoid axtinguisher pyros?
I will post what I learned so far on this. Im just going to post all the tips against Pyros i have. I hope it helps you.
As Scout:
Mainly try to keep him on distance and do much damage with many shots. Also use the pistol.
Dont jump. If he airblasts you while you're jumping you will have no jump left to escape. Only jump when they airblast you off the ground to escape and dodge their Flare Gun/Axtinguisher.
As Soldier:
With Gunboats:
If he gets too close, just rocketjump away. If you have not enough HP, look for the weapon he's currently holding. Shoot a rocket if it's not the flamethrower. If it's the flamthrower, don't shoot at all and wait for them to airblast out of scareness or false prediction. Walking towards them works pretty well (just have the courage to do that, when they're just waiting for you to shoot a rocket). Then quickly shoot a rocket to hit them during their airblast cooldown time.
With Sotgun:
Use Shotgun
(Genereal tip: Never shoot easy rockets at Pyros. Reflected rockets not only hurt you but can also hurt and kill anyone else on your team!)
As Pyro:
Have a derpy Pyro fight or just run away. If youre loosing the fight, airblast him away and escape.
As Demo:
If you have enough HP, run away from him, shoot a sticky on the ground and sticky jump away.
If corners are near, run around the corner, shoot 1-2 stickies at the wall and wait or him.
Or try to direct hit him with grenades. But watch out that you're not too predictable. Try to make him airblast out of scareness or because he predicts a shot and then quickly shoot a grenade after that. Just like as a Soldier.
As Heavy:
Aim well and the pyro dies faster before he hits you twice.
As Engi:
Well, i dont play Engi, but shotgun and pistol have to do the job I guess.
As Medic:
Run away from him (backpedal) and keep shooting syringes at him. Blutsauger works best for this because you get healed all the time. After the Pyro lost too much HP, he's going to run away on his own. Don't forget to predict his walking path (which should be the same as yours what makes it more easy to predict).
If he already airblasted you into a corner, the only thing you can do is trying to kill him with the saw. Just try to time your hit well when you see him running towards you. But this doesn't work often.
As Sniper:
Run away and noscope. Use the SMG if you have one equipped. Don't try to quickscope. If you miss, you're dead.
As Spy:
I also have not much to say here. Just try to run away. Keep being cloaked if a medipack is near. After you've picked it up and stopped burning, just try to dodge the pyro and gain distance to him.
If he already airblasted you into a corner, I guess you're going to die.
This should help when you find yourself in a 1vs1 situation with a Pyro. Also never forget to look behind you from time to time. Because of Spies and Pyros.
I never really understood all this stuff either:
What does the "lerp" show you in the net_graph?
Does choke mean that packets get lost?
What does rate, cl_cmdrate , cl_updaterate actually mean?
How are your fps connected to this all?
Lerp shows how many milliseconds the game uses when it creates the lag-compensated interpolated state that you see on your end, clientside. 100ms might have a big window for corrections and such, but it introduces extra lag (all you do is delayed by 50ms) that's especially noticable when you fire rockets and other projectiles - they actually leave your weapon noticable fractions of a second later than they should when on the default 100ms lerp.
cl_cmdrate is the max amount of packets sent to the server per second.
cl_updaterate is the amount of packets per second your client requests from the server.
FPS is related to this in some ways, you should never put cmdrate to a higher value than the fps you can get consistently. If your cmdrate ends up being higher than the FPS you're pulling, hit detection and more will take a hit.
Which is a better weapon; Cow Mangler 5000, or Direct Hit?
both are very different items, the first one is more like a teamwork weapon meanwhile the second one excels in 1v1. I reccomend using the CW5K with a banner and the whip, since they revolves around your teammates, and the DH with either shotgun or gunboats and escape plan for a solo loadout.
Is it a bad thing that yesterday I traded a craftable Kringle Collection for a craftable Lt.Bites?
How to trade?
-snip-
In a pyro vs pyro you'll win most of the time if you strafe them and/or backpedal while shooting your flamethrower, if they airblast you, they,re just wasting ammo and pretty much giving you a free kill if you can get close again.
As engi, you can probably kill him by distracting him with buildings if you have the metal.
-snip-
I believe choke is when your connection can't keep up with the game and loss is when the server doesn't receive some packets that you send.
Interpolation smooths the position of the other players so it doesn't look choppy if you receive less updates than your framerate, which will happen unless you're playing on a lan server.
If you move backwards diagonally you won't get the penalty for moving backwards.
EDIT: A/D + S
What to do when you're the only engineer on a team with minimum support and 2 spies decide and harass your sentry, dispenser and most importantly teleporter? (Just came back from a fresh round of defensive engineer on pl_badwater, maximum frustration) Even if they only have one spy on the other team I freak out, and I can't decide if I should kill the spy first or repair my shit first. Because when they have the RTR, it's even harder for me.

A/D and S together? or A/D while turning your mouse?

the frenchie first, shotgun him or if you're really desperate, put out your melee. Most competent spies though will find a way to trickstab/sidestab you if you try to melee them so my advice is to try to kill them with your primary.
Any tips on improving aim? Some times I feel like I can land most of my pellets/rockets/pipes. Other times, I feel like I miss way too much.

Practice
Good stuff snip
Some more things to add:
Scout
You are fast enough to circle the pyro and stay out of his flamethrower range as long as you are careful. Learn the distance flames can travel and you will find pyros are easy picks for scouts.
Soldier
Vary your firing pattern, predictable shots will get reflects back at you and your team. Abuse splash damage on the pyro, hitting the wall or floor around him to damage him where he cant reflect back.
Pyro
Lead him into your flames, as long as you are leading you will win nearly every time.
Demo
You are a mid-range monster, use it to your advantage. Grenades will fire faster than airblast and stickies explosion radius is greater than airblast range.
Heavy
Watch your positioning and use that 500 dps canon wisely
Engi
If caught away from sentry use your shotgun, with good aim you will kill the pyro and only suffer minor afterburn damage. Otherwise lead him into your sentry
Medic
Your syringe gun does as much damage as his flamethrower from a greater range, so backpedal and strafe to rack up easy pyro kills.
Sniper
Depends on your skill level but generally switch to a secondary and bug out unless you can land quick scopes with some reliability.
Spy
Use your damn revolver, that thing can eat through a pyro in 4~ shots

Trickstabs get very predictable though.
If a spy is trying to lead you around a corner, he's trying to do a corner stab. Either don't take the corner or take the turn very widely.
If a spy is trying to lead you up some stairs, he's trying to do a stair stab. Either don't take the stairs or walk backwards when he jumps, thus messing up his stab.
If a spy is trying to lead you off an edge, he's likely going for an understab. Don't fall off the ledge.

I need to know
Practice
people always say that when it comes to improving your aim, yet 3,700k hours in the game and i feel like any time i land a shot, its pure luck. my aim just feels atrocious to me a lot of the time
i dunno man, practice doesnt always make perfect, and not even moderately good
What are some good strategies for beating mecha engine Bigrock?
What are some good strategies for beating mecha engine Bigrock?
Airblast the shit out of those robots.
[editline]15th August 2013[/editline]
Which is pretty important on every map, but especially on Bigrock.

Airblast the bomb-carrier over the first reset pit, and kill it before it hits the bottom. The bomb will get stuck down there, and it can't be reset.
That and ALWAYS have at least one good Spy. I recommend having the Spy backstab the Engies, use the Dead Ringer to survive the Sentry's attacks, then sapping the teleporter, and finish off the nest by shooting the Sentry outside of its normal range or to stand on top of it doing the rodeo trick while stabbing it to death.

...Why not just redisguise while you're cloaked with the DR and sap the sentry?
You always sap only the teleporter in MvM.
Can't really afford to sap for some time then.
A/D and S together? or A/D while turning your mouse?
The former.

That's why you buy an Ammo Canteen. Recharges your sapper instantly.
Is it alright to get some skinning help from here?
I've been having some problems with the model viewer.
If you can't figure out that businesses then just use the SFM model viewer.

Might as well.
How do I deal with pyro's that airblast me into a corner?
