They're effectively Autumn's version of the Appetiser crate which still hasn't expired (heck, I still have one in my backpack). Something tells me, these crates won't retire but may be put onto the "rare item" backburner (or just stop dropping).

As far as I can tell, since the Boogaloo update, Self made keys gifted by VALVe aren't tradeable. The ones before the Boogaloo are however.

I figured as such, but hearing stories of people begging them to use it made me think otherwise. Guess people just wanted the keys themselves and didn't care much about the Self Made part of it.
