Are you still going to play Team Fortress 2 after this update? - Games

I'll play it as I have played it since the game came out, for a month or so until the next update comes out. These updates are the only thing that keep me coming back to the game.

Why yes, first I was annoyed by this update, then I turned on TF2 and thought to myself. "A, fuck. More hats, and weapons nobody has yet. It's going to be like Polycount. Apart from that - nothing really changed."

I mod the game more than I actually play it. I don't think I've really actually played TF2 in a good month or so. I have more fun making items and stuff for it. So I'll probably continue to do that. I'll keep playing every once in a while though.

Let me say it now so I don't have to tell you once you do it, no matter what you say about Team Fortress 2, you will almost always come back to it in the end.

and another thing, tf2 is like the only enjoyable FPS nowadays. Well the others are enjoyable too but there's this one thing about tf2 that makes it just a little more fun, maybe the fact that each character has their own personality...can't figure it out.

When I first read about the update, I thought: "You really did it this time, Valve, I'm just gonna quit playing the game." So I played the game anyway, and with the exception of some new items which got added, I don't really think that so much has changed. I mean, yes they added crates which require to be unlock (which is against the spirit of Christmas of course), but you can get almost everything without spending a dime. And yes, the crafting recipes are ridiculous, but if you're smart, you're just gonna wait for them to drop and for the new update buzz to settle. For me, this is just another update, it's not better than other updates, it's not worse.

The only reason I'm playing it right now is because I have a free 16 slot server that my friends and I use. If it wasn't for that, the game would have been uninstalled a long time ago.

Valve is not the same anymore. But I'll still play it...not as much as before though.

Yes. Until valve ruin it down to nothing. However i think i'll stick to balloon_race for a while.

To be honest the only reason I still have it installed is because I want to make stuff for it. Of course, I still play it every now and then.

I'll probably use the content in garrysmod for the Tf2 gamemode,nothing else.

25%, wow. No more free update, Valve. I mean, if they only add frustrating limited items and weapons that break the whole set-based gameplay.

I'm still playing it, and I will keep playing. Maybe there are new items, but things like comp-play and ingame jokes won't change. And I don't care about new content. New weapons are neat, but don't change the whole game. Oh, and by the way: TF2 Beta for the win

Nope. Recent updates have shown me that there is no point for me to play this game. There are lots of more interesting games out there, both single and multiplayer that I want to finish. This game has lost 90% of it's appeal to me. I will boot it up once in a while to go on my favorite server with a couple of friends but that is all. I would love to mod things, but I don't know how to, where to start and what to do. Farewell TF2, you have been a good friend and a timewaster. I will miss you the way I remember you. Deep down in my heart and in the back of my mind.

At first i thought the polycount update would make the game suck, but i grew to accept it. Im just hoping i can feel the same about Australian Christmas. :unsmith:

TF2s peak was the War update

I don't play this game casually anyway, haven't for about a year, just idle every once in awhile and trade.
