Are you still going to play Team Fortress 2 after this update?

Eh fuck it, I just completely un-installed it.
Too many new weapons to get, it seems like work.
I've been playing CSS and it has some REALLY awesome mods. Enjoying it more than TF2.
play it occasionally sounds like an in-between
You are playing TF2 then.
I used to play TF2 quite a lot. Now? Not even a minute per month.
Can you guys explain to me why you want to quit? Sure, if you don't find it fun anymore then I can understand. But quitting because you can't get weapons instantly, and which for the most part are horribly underpowered? And because someone looks a little different with a hat? Or just because you can't counter a weapon? Can someone explain?
I'm gonna play it occasionally.
No. I'm not going to play the game anymore.
The only thing worse than people who whine are people who whine about whining. People have opinions about the game, deal with it.

I don't care about Hats myself. My reason is solely about the weapons. Even if you get enough drops to craft 2 reclaimed a week (which is a huge stretch, to say the least) It will still take 3 months to get all the new items, while someone can just go the 'Pay to win' route and use them all immediately
The weapons' stats do not matter: Having the choice alone gives you an advantage over other players.
I played the Medieval Mode for an hour, but that's pretty much all I got out of this update. Now I've pretty much put it in the dusty corner. I'll probably play it, but definitely not like I used to. Most of my time will probably be put into other games like Killing Floor, Left 4 Dead 2, Starcraft 2, ect.

I don't get what is with this sudden I DON'T WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME ANYMORE stuff
Autists have difficulties coping with routine changes.
autists rate me dumb
I'll play it occasionally.
The core concepts of TF2 are what brought me to the title, and I've explored them as much as one can. The additions are nice, but they build upon a game I'm done with.
Don't get me wrong, I still love TF2 and regard it as one of Valve's best titles, but I've explored it, and there are other games to explore. Same reason why I don't watch the same film over and over again.
I have been a loyal fan of TF2 for 3 years now but this... this... it's too much. i am broken. this update broke me. I thought valvE loved me but then they rape the game. the game is raped.
Im sorry but i cant go any further. goodbye VALVe it was a good game but then you raped it
here's your pinkerton and your razorblade, next!
Just crafted a Ritzy Rick's Hair Fixitive.
It almost drove me over the edge.
I'm only going to log in one time per week to get drops to play with friends sometime.
I barely played it before my account was disabled, so I voted no. Not because I don't liked it, but because I just lost the interest in playing PC games.
I play about 2 to 3 hours a go.
Oh cool I found a chart about TF2 that I can agree with!

It may suck that alot of shit infested shit covered with shit is happening to this game, ( people more worried about hats and cosmetics than the game itself, the urge to purchase items you don't feel like waiting weeks to get enough metal to craft for, the retarded/greedy community, etc... ) but it is still my favorite game and I'm going to stay loyal to it.
I still play, and actively encourage real life aquaintences to play or begin playing.
Don't worry guys-who-left! Your space in the vast gears of the Mannconomy will soon be filled!

This is sadly mostly true. Until Battlefield 3 comes out most current FPS multiplayer games are awful, and even then Battlefield 3 is probably going to be a fantastic game that ends up a horrible lagfest knowing DICE.

Whenever I play it I just don't feel any enjoyment anymore. The new weapons aren't significant enough to change much, most are just minor stat changes.
I haven't been playing Team Fortress 2 very actively since the first community update. I would have loved the updates if Valve actually balanced weapons. All they care about is adding hats/weapons, while they should be fixing bugs/exploits. And does Valve even test their shit before they put it in an update? They fuck up about 2/3 of every update because they don't test anything.
Take this, for example, which was included in the Christmas update; Fixed a Flamethrower bug that allowed players to rapidly fake the Pyro's airblast effect.
Were the fuck was this in '08? Does it take Valve 2 years of adding a shit ton of unecessaries to a once great game to finally make up their minds to fix problems that have been around for ages?
TF2 is now Hat Fortress 2, Trade Fortress 2, and Hand Over Your Money For Useless Shit Fortress 2.
I'll keep playing it. I just want Valve to know something:
STOP NOW!
Tweak, fix, put in missing icons etc. There was enough to sort out without this Christmas update, and your workload has just increased.
I quit after the Mannconomy update
I stopped playing it frequently after the Engineer update. It just felt so dull somehow.
I stopped playing when hats came.
Still gonna play it, but i will only play with friends, because i won't enjoy TF2 like i did before.
Not voting cause there's no "only Beta" option.
I don't understand why so many people are stopping playing because of this update, none of the new items are really that good compared to the default weapons, you'll crush anyone using them easily just because the default items are more versatile.
The new items you'll be able to get from drops in January, that is the few you can't get from drops right now, none of the new items as far as I know are going to be exclusive to crates for more than 2 or so weeks, I can understand being angry about that, but giving up playing because of it?
If it bothers you so much, the new items, the crates, the hats, the tradetalk, the lack of teamwork: www.tf2lobby.com
I'll continue to play it. Then again, I always played the game for the social aspect and new items are just conversation starters. .
We're not playing because they're selling items you can only get with real money like the candy cane which give real ingame advantages and there's overpowered shit with no downsides like the amputator and uncreative +15 health -15 dmg shit and there's MORE SET BONUS FUCKING HATS SOME OF WHICH YOU CAN ONLY BUY
ugh god CSS is so much simpler than TF2 now even though it's full of elitist fucks it's still more fun

Yeah they're conversation starters except for when you're using the same guns as the enemy but he has +25 health because he bought a stupid fucking hat
