You are forgetting the fact that all of the games in there comes with a fair discount, I would keep an eye on this contest just for that. (remember to save some for the big chirstmas sale that will start on the 20th)

are some people missing that if theres at least one simple task (like the avatar one) each day then it gurantees a hat
hopefully 5 of the achievements will be from either tf2, hl2 (and episodes) and portal which means getting 10 should be easy

the achievement doesnt count in the demo version.
I may have lost all respect for Valve's fans, but I've gained more respect for the company itself in the fact it can make so much money
To all the people complaining on the first page:
It's still a sale, it just has free TF2 items involved (and give-aways). Hell if the objectives are anything like today's, most people will have half of them done already.
