Well I would assume that VALVe would do the animations and sounds since it was not required to even get the weapons to a playable state in game. Think of this a more of a proof of concept really.
Good luck Cheezy, god speed.
- Scattergun barrel doesn't spin.
- Frilly jiggle-boned stuff on the scattergun goes through his arm when he reloads.
- Hand goes through the reloading mechanism on the scattergun.
- Bat replacement makes metal contact sounds, obviously.
Fix these things and I'd say you have a great entry.
The scattergun's replacement's barrels don't move when you fire it and that's just bothering the fuck outta me
It looks good but
One; What Enhanced_AI said about the shells not moving.
Two;...Where the hell does the ammo come back from? I mean the original scattergun had a drum of some sort, so it was assumed it came from there. This..well, it just has magically re-appearing shells. :geno:
Either way, I'd use it.
the gun is so good
For the tirebite you could:
have it be only 6 shots and force players to find more ammo after spending the shots
or
have a reload similar to a revolver (probably more favorable)
Looks like it MIGHT make it, if Valve aren't lazy enough to animate the stuff to make them realistic.
I mean, name me a country that people drink icecream at.
Egypt
On topic, I hope you win.
That gun is orgasmic to my senses
Damn you Cheezy.
I am torn between you and BANG!
Oh god that bike scattergun hnnnnggh
The little tassel has won me over, I wouldn't mind seeing these in the game.
The gravity, man! The Ice Cream would fall if you'd do that!
Ice cream, man. Shit is crazy.
But there's always ways to explain things in TF2 canon, such as Scout being completely oblivious to eating frozen glue. It's like Propulsion Pudding. Sweet-tasting and largely non-toxic.
Voting for this guy since today.
Hey Cheeezy, old chap old pal, mind telling me the software you used in creating this? I'd much appreciate it.
On an actually related note, I love the newspaper.

Yeah, tell us what software you used and any tutorials you may have used.

what if it's a blizzard?
What if it's a Dog?
I like the scatter gun replacement, except the barrel should rotate when reloading, and there should be a hammer.
I used 3dsMax 2010

And the gear assembly was meant to spin, but I didn't have time to learn custom animations. I'm not sure what you guys mean by the barrel not moving.

I think they mean there's no kickback in the world model animations, which I think is the case with the regular scattergun too.
Ok, how the hell can you deal damage to a big fat russian with a rolled newspaper? And who the hell spins an icecream?! Gun is good :)

The newspaper is rolled around metal rebar, which I think should be more prominent than the newspaper.
I loved everything, but I feel the hat was a little uninspired.
If that gun somehow does not win you'd better release that shit.
I want it so bad you don't even KNOW, man.
I like the effect when bringing out the ice-cream, but the paperboy would need some sort of sound replacement.
