Can you pick up the buildings of friendly engineers?
If so, could be useful for rotating the exit of that one noob engineer who built it facing the wall when you don't have time to full build/upgrade one yourself.

I find myself, as a sniper, giving engineers lugging a sentry special priority now. mostly off the anger i feel when i get killed carrying a level 3 i just built :p
final cap on Upward is hillarious when theres 10+ engineers on the defending team. Not a huge fan of demoman, but i racked up so many points.
Well, my hopes are that they release the Meet The Pyro tonight... There is a chance...

Me too. I really hope the new stuff doesn't get nerfed that hard. I know something probably will (my bet is the Wrangler) but hopefully it is something small, like a smaller damage resistance for the shield.
I know it really is very good in-game I was looking forward to a variation on the sentry/dispesner guess we'll see what happens/
What I do like though is how Valve managed to compile a shield sentry, with a ranged sentry and manual control all into one weapon, I thought that was neat rather then deciding on one of those ideas they managed to stick them into one.
Although everything is way TOO OVERPOWERED, the ability to move lvl 3 sentrys super fast is insane espicially after like 2 years of them being stationary they can just move now.
I feel like there's more to come, then again there's the polycount contest stuff so that'll be intreseting but still the nerfs are going to come down like a ton of bricks.
I also hated how they ruined the update with the crappy promotions and golden wrench, would've been much better with lots of funny text like they usually do, this one really felt they tried to hard and it came off worse then some of the other class pormotions.

Have you even tried it? I have to wait fifteen seconds to eat it again after I eat it once.
This update has caused me no end of pain. Soon after receiving unlocks, players in the community began to misuse them, ffs. This makes the engineer an incredibly overpowered class, and completely destroys it use as a SUPPORT class. Atfer playing for about 10 mins, we lost the middle section of the map, and then spent 2 hours trying to regain control as nest after nest of fucking mini remote controlled sentries popped up. Even spy now is destroyed; you sap the sentry, revenge crit gets you .
Great weapons, great maps. Terrible promotion.
Banning of people of Golden Wrenches, so much bitching over golden wrenches, 100 limit on Golden Wrenches seriously it was some of the worst complaining I've seen but it was stupid of Valve to put such a limit on a rare item and to put a none-random method of acquiring it, which lead to them banning people who found out the time.
Not to mention there was no funny text or anything like that and the way they introduced weapons was not very interesting.
But I think the engineer needs huge nerfs, I mean sure theres loads of engineers but moving sentries is a big deal and sentries that are built in 2.5 seconds is a bigger deal I mean how are scouts going to live even when the amount of engis die down.

Not really an overpowered class. A skilled spy, a mildly skilled demoman, or a good ubercharge can destroy most engineers. Also look at the other updates. Most had a weapon or two that completely changed the playing style of the character (i.e Eyelander+Shield, CnD, Direct Hit, Huntsman, Jarate, Sandvich, ect.)
Steam forum noobs will get everything nerfed don't worry about that. Users like Srador, his one experience playing with a terrible team with shit spies, shit medics and shit demos means users like him will spam Steam forums and cry until it gets fixed. Fucking community pisses me off sometimes. But all in all great update.
Yeah I agree, people are failing to notice that the Wrangler will sure it shields and makes it harder to take out, makes the engineers piss easy to take out, because most have tunnel-vision. Spies and Demomen can just take them out with ease. However the Wrangler adds +200% more health which is a bit OTT:
To describe how OP that is the Lvl 1 sentry goes from 150hp to 450hp.

There are some nerfs that are needed, I play scout so I can see a lot of problems with how easy it is to move level 3 sentries they also have so much health when building up, it's close to impossible to fight and engineer as a scout and take out there moving lvl 3 sentry in time, actually to be honest just fighting the portable level 3 sentry while its building alone is close to impossibles because it's built up in seconds and requires so much damage to stop it from building.

Those combat sentries may be a bit to fast I mean engineer's are attacking me and during a firefight they just drop one down, I kill them but I have low health and die to there sent because it only takes 2.5 seconds to deploy, I can circle-strafe it but it's hard to take out, most of the time It's behind the engineer I kill so I don't have time to circle-strafe due to being to far away.
What's even more insane is that with the Wrangler it also has 450hp, get that a sentry in 2.5 seconds with 450hp. Good luck trying to play scout.

I personally love the way the level 3 Sentry re-builds itself; it's just like in Meet the Demoman. I love everything this update added. Actually, I've always liked the stuff they give us at first, it's only later that I begin to see the flaws.
I like the way it rebuilds itself and like everything they've done sure but that thing builds up unbeliveably fast I mean 2 years of non-moving sents and now they introduce moveable ones with no big drawback thats a huge change to gameplay because sentries play a huge role in the game and affect certain classes strategies.
Like I said playing scout specifically it's key that I can get past sentries and now its so funny because engis literally run up to me and place a lvl 3 sentry down and I can't kill it in time because it has such insane build HP.
I like the wranger. I can avoid my sentry being destroyed by enemies that use edges.

No, it's nerfed. I thought the same too at first, but then I tried it. Eating the Sandvich starts the cooldown timer and you can't eat it again until the cooldown timer is done.

A lot of people are complaining there's not enough content.
You have to realize the team released three new official maps. That's a huuuuge compared to the one or maybe two maps we've gotten previously.
Not only that but they're good maps. So in terms of time spent on the update, creating the maps were a very large factor.
Thanks to the Engi update, I can shoot more Engineers coming down from the battlements.

I have no idea what other changes was made aside from adding of new Engineer weapons and making buildings movable.
