There are a huge amount of Soldiers compared to Demomen: Soldier almost outnumbers Demo 2:1 in the war.
This being said, it is much more likely that an artist will be on the Soldier's side than the Demo's side.
Therefore:
More Soldiers = More Soldier love.
Less Demomen = Less Demo Love.
Does that make sense?

I take it Illustrator is better for vectoring and shit, then? I haven't used it ever. Is it pretty easy to learn if you already know your way around photoshop? Or is it a completely different ballgame?
The first thing you see is the Soldier.
This makes me think it's a poster supporting the Soldier..
Perhaps if you made him look idiotic it would make it more obvious.

Actually, if you look at the entire poster instead of scrolling down, you notice the [B]"JOIN DEMOMEN"[/B] first.
Obviously the soldier grabs our attention, but the red TODAY brings our eyes down to the main point of the piece.
I think it's wonderfull.

Even though I know my way so well around Photoshops interface I get really lost trying to find out where everything is and what does what. It does have many tools that makes certain things easier though.
Still getting the hang of it. The pen tool has a really usefull feature though that makes any anchor point smooth withouth having to manually drag the handles out.

I don't know about making them save in something other than JPG, but you can just change the quality to 100% in the settings tab I think.

google for "paper texture" place it above everything on your poster, set mode to overlay or multiply, lower down the opacity to like 30-50%
