I love how he said "It's VERY aim-based." in front of a Lucksman.
There was a ~gurl gamer~ who was trying to impress me and my friend by talking about how pro she was at Black Ops.
She utterly failed, because neither of us like COD. :v:
I hate all these kids that go on like oh it has bad graphics Black ops has better graphics one time i showed a guy in my school tf2 and he was all like Oh it has comic graphic and looks like shit.
On another note everytime i play other games like for example bad company 2 i played it only about over 100 hours then i got back to tf2 its almost with every game like that imo tf2 is the best multiplayer fps ever even thou it has changed and even thou there are to many weapons i still like my default rocket launcher most.
My friends know what TF2 is but choose CoD over it.
my face :downs:

Everyone at my school, pretty much.
Except my friends, most of them play TF2.
Which is awesome, FYI.
die, machinima scum
Um. What? Then why do Valve call TF2 "The sequel to the game that put team-based shooters on the map". Quite literally.
die, machinima scum
There's not much wrong with this, while it was Quake World Team Fortress that was first, Team Fortress Classic at its height was way bigger than QWTF ever was, so it's not hard to argue that TFC put the genre on the map, while QWTF introduced the genre.
Also I hate everybody who thinks console controls are better than PC controls for FPS games.
Especially when they don't even give the PC a chance.
Microsoft managed to connect the Xbox and PC together for some trials once. The PC guys were just casual players but the Xbox guys were 'Pro'. The Xbox guys were destroyed every single time. Mouse and Keyboard are so much better than the gamepad. We don't have to go in little shitty lines.

hit that shit anyway.
I feel like writing something pure PC elitist to those console kids, but meh, i dont wanna waste any effort on them.
This also reminds me of the time i first watched tf2 gameplay and was all over the screen. Ossum
Reading the comments and posts in this thread, my head hurts now. :geno:
Y'know what? I should talk to the other guy in my group and see if he'd let me post some TF2 stuff to Respawn. We usually do actual machinima films, but we do occasional commentaries for Realm/Respawn.
Just saying that I'd love for TF2 to be a somewhat regular game on Respawn so that there are less comments like those. I'm not a huge fan of commentaries, but TF2 commentaries at least are different, since they don't have generic guns and maps the whole time.
I remember when I tried to introduce my friends to TF2, what was the response I got?
"lol this game is for kidz it looks liek a cartun lol" :downs:
It's nice that now at my high school, I know 5 people who regularly play TF2, and other Valve games :buddy:

I also like how he needed to use the "War" gamemode to describe it.

Lame elitist rumor. It came from some guy touting "inside sources" who gave no evidence to show this was true. Besides the whole setup there just seems like BS anyway. How do you gauge if someone's just a "casual" player and who exactly were the "pro" players? What games were tested, across which genres?
While I'm more of a PC gamer, it just gets annoying hearing constant boring platform elitism about how every last player/game on consoles suck.

The game was Shadowrun (not a great game in itself). One of the few properly cross platform games. The PC version has various gimps on the controls when playing online (mouse sensitivity can't be adjusted properly, some stuff like that from what I remember reading in reviews). The "pro" PC gamers wouldn't have bought the game as it is CoD, or any of the other games used in competitive matches, not sure about the 360 players, they probably didn't have many "pro" players either. But even with the gimped controls, the PC players still won almost every match.
It isn't biased bullshit when it actually happened.

It is when people throw around apparently testing 1-2 games like they ran some gamut of games and consoles players lost in every category. (Not saying someone here is doing that, but any time I see that story brought up, it's frequently used as a weak excuse to bash console players) I doubt cross-platform MP was killed over less than stellar Shadowrun experiences and some great PC player domination.
It's funny because back in highschool the only people that played TF2 were me and my group of friends (about 8 of us played TF2 regularly).
Fast forward to university and the only games I see people playing are TF2 and Minecraft.
A lot of people say PC takes no skill because a mouse is "too easy" to use. :downs:
You know, the Inside Gaming and Respawn team still owe00 me T-Shirts, even thought they promised me and a few other guys them they never replied to our emails later. Theyre overal asshats towards community sometimes.

Thanks for reminding me of that movie. Hades was my favourite character.
No one where I live knows what Team Fortress 2 even is. I agree with the video, its a popular game, but its not popular enough.
I remember discussing FPSs at work the other day, and everyone was like "Wow, do you like playing Black OPs?" and I'm like "...Nah, I prefer Team Fortress 2".
One of them said he researched it and thought it was a Pixar movie.
Disney/Pixar presents Team Fortress 2, with music by Randy Newman.
UrbanTerror is* much better FPS
Hahaha
We need to bombard machinima with TF2 videos...
Or not. I really wouldn't like the game as much if we had morons like that infesting every server. "Omg guyz1!!! Chek out my K/D XDXD"
