When I joined a friend in a trading server the admin was using noclip to kill everyone in spawn, and when they fought back they got frozen, exploded & sometimes banned. The admin had godmode on, too.
Why do people try so hard to take the little bit of fun that's left outta things?

Don't you guys have any servers without shitty admins? I'm Australian and I just play on games.on.net and GameArena servers, which are owned by large Telecommunications companies. They have admins, but they are usually silent and only ban people for obvious hacking and exploiting etc. Infact, they don't even announce their admins. You just better hope there aren't any on if you decide to be an asshat.
We do, but we don't post about them because it's not interesting. Really, what's more interesting to read about? That one time I had an aimbotter on my group's server and how it took us like two rounds in total to perma-ban his ass, or the time I had two or three admins have an hour long conversation about working in gay porn, which finally ended in me getting banned when I had barely done anything to the guy?
FPUK was doing a rush so I decided to go any class except heavy and do nothing, constantly frozen and slayed

I got an instant, permanent, global ban from all Convict Gaming servers for doing the Heavy glitch. I didn't get any warning either.
When I made an appeal, they said that glitching was as bad as hacking.
To top it all off it was on the 24/7 MarioKart 100% crits server. SERIOUS BUSINESS

The majority I have run into in games are like that too you know. They really don't aid the stereotype. They refuse to acknowledge language rules on the server, refuse to play nicely when they do speak English and are just massive cocks all around most times.
Though I have met a few who aren't total asshats, they are few and far between. I assume the nice Russians stay on Russian servers instead of pissing people on EU/ US servers off?

Actually, this is true. I'm an admin on a surf server (english only), and have had such problems. I actually told one of them (in Russian) thats its english only, and he called me a russian bad word and left. But, we have some Russian regulars who speak broken english and they are really nice. So I guess it really depends.
