Can't argue with opinions. I can point out however that the old leather band was actually one solid form and had a built-in filter for the 'scales' which don't look like crocodile scales at all :v:
The new one has a fancy belt instead of that magical bee-alligator cylinder and even though it has more detail it has hardly increased the polycount.

Krankensage looks good :) I agree the blood looks weird - the blending from dark to pale and it could also benefit a variation in color

I agree with carl - you should rethink some of the shapes and focus on the silhouette... it should still be interesting and recognizable from a silhouette which means more of a variation of shapes and curvature
as an example this is an old bayonet - it's not completely straight and has a more interesting shape...

I'd also rethink the cracking on the stock (how does a stock get cracked straight down the middle like that?) it would be wise not to invest so many tris at the back where it wouldn't be visible in first person view and not very noticeable in third person
also, does anyone know how the character specific positionings on all class hats work? I thought they were based off the reference animations in the character named files (i.e. spy.smd, pyro.smd etc) but it seems my hat keeps using the idle position... is there some setting I need to change?
