Well, I guess I can show this now. Forgive me if I already have, I don't recall ever doing so.
I made a download statistics page for the Island Update but for the Fancy vs. Nasty Update I wanted to do something special.
I linked the download counters and several other calculated values to a set of working achievements to determine the success of the Update.
It was originally only for personal use and to show off to some close friends but now that most of it has gone official I think it might be time to post it online. It can be found [url=http://www.alphastudiossoftware.nl/fancy_vs_nasty/stiekem.php]here[/url].

How do I change the confetti effect for unusuals?
I tried going over the individual confetti in the VTF, but that didn't seem to work.
Dunno what those -s represent.
I'll try the +s but I think it will look awkward.

Oh, you can't pick between the two grenades. One of them is for the grenade exploding, the other one is for just slapping people with the exploded shell.
The tilted saw is to match my other tilted saws, for the moment.

Funny how the Krankensage is clearly the most popular weapon (download-wise) and yet was one of the only ones Valve didn't include in-game. :v:
Where's MechaBowser? We need a mod that lets you sever limbs with the Amputator. I'd like to cut off Scout's legs so he can't frigging run straight up and meatshot me, and maybe cut off the top of Heavy's head to make him Frankenstein's monster. They had to install the Cadaver's Cranium somehow...

BUT
It's not supposed to be anything specific. It's supposed to have a shillouette that approximates what one of these rifles sorta looks like, and that's it. There are little inspirations from many rifles that I've added into this model. If I really wanted to have a pixel perfect representation of an M4 or AR18 or any of these weapons then I would make that. Same goes for the other items I make. But they're meerly cartoon versions. Look at the weapons in the game currently, many cartoon versions of real weapons and not pixel perfect representations.

Are you just trying to change the material its using? Or in the particle editor?

I'm not saying pixel perfect either, but some of those things doesn't make sense for tf2 (magazine for example) if you overexaggerated the waffle magazine patter however for example, it would fit.

I guess I'll do it, even though I've never done a texture in TF2. I've got a rough red version already.

Thanks for the feedback on the drumsticks and Mohawk you guys. I think I'll do a spiked version of the hair, though that would make it 5 items in the theme and I think valves limit is 3. Seeing as the drumsticks are kind of bland I'll have to make the animations for them have some character.
Speaking of which, does anyone know if you have to submit fully working weapons to them? I plan to make the animations with their bone systems and just submit them like that so they can do the compiling. Kind of worried that they wont use my weapons because it will need a bunch of new code to implement them into the game.
Another question I have is, whats the limit on how long an animation can be? I plan to do a part of the tf2 theme as the fire animations for the guitar which will probably be around 600 frames.

The extra mag is unnecessary, an from that picture it looks like the stock is boxy rather than organic.
