Most of the weapons each class used reflect their abilities. I don't see the scout using electricity as a damaging weapon. If all the classes are going to have an electric theme why not fire?

Because Fire is Pyro. No one has electricity. Engi doesn't count, those are machines, not just electric theme.

Electric weapons theme sounds good on paper, but when it comes time to make weapons for 4 classes its going to show.
tbh I'm only voting winter because it so far has the best chance against electricity. I really don't feel it's going to work out good.

A weapon can be powered by electricity without having to shoot electricity. You people just aren't being clever enough.

Minigun is already powered by electricity.
The only types of guns that even use electricity without firing it would involve mechanical stuff, which is the engineers thing.
Aside from using it as a damaging weapon, it could be used only to power things, like magnets or motors. And at that point it isn't even obvious what the theme is.
