I think the Electric stuff fits Medic pretty well, at least from a lot of the things I've seen so far. It goes well with the "retro futuristic technology that the Bond Villain's scientist henchmen use" theme that I personally imagine a large part of Medic's stereotype to be based on. The main thing I would recommend for these items is to not make them too gray or too plastic. When you texture it, make sure it still looks a lot like Medic's default medigun. I don't like the theme much on any other classes so far though. (Sorry, nothing personal) The theme could plausibly fit Engineer, however I don't think the things I've seen so far resembles his style of buildings items yet. Electrical weapons for Engineer should in my opinion resemble the way his buildings look, or his Gunslinger.

I figured out that it's what shows when you're simultaneously cloaked and disguised.

So I decided to download the trial of Maya to see if it was different from Blender. It was. By a lot. I mean, shit, I couldn't figure out how to create a shape in the damn thing, but in Maya everything is there, simple controls. Easy to start sculpting. All I need now is a good idea so I can get to it :buddy: [editline]13th December 2010[/editline] Also, how are you guys getting at so you get the right size of the weapon? Do you like import models to compare with or something?

One thing though, give some credit to Corndog Ninja too. Without him figuring out how to make those sprites look decent as a HUD we wouldn't have been able to make any of this. ... I've only been using it for two weeks and i made my first *usable* model in it... but i continue to use XSI mod tool and 3ds max at the same time... automerge ouch.
He said he hates the layout of 3ds because it's not as customizable as blender, and so he refuses to use it. Any advice for convincing him to try out Maya, or get a free copy of it somehow? He is very anti-warez, not that I would suggest it to him, but he does not have the money to buy it either.

He is very anti-warez, not that I would suggest it to him, but he does not have the money to buy it either.[/QUOTE] They have a free 30 day trial for him to try out, i did that and deleted it from my registry, and reinstall...etc i heard neodement has a custom menu he really likes... so i'm guessing it's pretty customizable, although i use default menus.
