I tried combining my two camera beards into a different hat, but it failed. Does that only work with certain hats?
Here's a blueprint I WISH they had;
Hat + Hat + Class Token = Hat for said Class

The Camera Beard is no longer a hat, it's a miscellaneous item.

Here's how to solve all of your problems: only craft items you don't want or duplicates of items!
Then who cares if you "lose four hats for nothing"? You'd really just be losing nothing for nothing. Why would you care about losing four hats that you have duplicates of?

That's what I thought... I guess the camera beard no longer counts as a hat at all then (Yes, I realize it's now a misc, but I hoped it would still count as a hat when crafting). Wanted to do this using my Backbiter's Billycock and Camera Beard since I never play spy anyway, and the only other hat I have is the Pyro's Beanie, which I'm not givin' up to random chance.
