MAJOR TF2 update for 10/29/13 (Fifth Annual Scream Fortress) - Games

So wait. The Spooky Crates literally have nothing of actual worth in them? Valve, you're kind of stretching the whole good faith thing.

Apparently high-five taunting on the red team insta-crashes any server. Has been working flawlessly no matter what server I test it on. What the fuck Valve hahaha

Why do we need 100 season-restricted items? If the portion of it is available to use anytime, I don't mind, but this is too much.

Nevermind, it appears to only happen on certain servers. Not sure why.

also if anyone melees a skeleton, its a crash too

so they add lines for one pony hat but don't give all the classes their lines for mvm valve prioritizing at its best

God, I wish halloween gifts would hang around for a half decent period of time. Lost one after dying to the same scout twice and having 2 30 second respawns.

Pyros should be banned from the Halloween maps EDIT: Actually just get rid of their airblast, make them run as fast as Soldiers and give them the same amount of health as Scouts for the Halloween events because dying to Pyros who airblast you into pits, airblast your rockets/arrows/pipes even if they aren't fucking looking at you and never leaving you the fuck alone can only happen so many times before I want to sacrifice 1000 babies to Satan so I can just fucking play the god damn game without these little pieces of shit who think they're so good because they click their problems away [QUOTE=snookypookums;42696594]Only if scouts go first. I just filled the spellbook, but what the fuck does it DO? Seems exactly the same as the magazine in functionality.

I tried joining a server but between the crashes and the broken item server, I couldn't have any fun.

The "Hell" map is a bit unbalanced, the platform with the spell on it is tilted towards one team, just triple jump up there as scout and take out half the enemy team in 1 shot.

I don't even really understand the hell part Even if say Blue team pushes the cart to victory, if red makes it to the Skull Island do they win?

It can also stalemate if both teams are dead. I had an instance where I was the last player alive and made it to Skull Island. The victory lines played and we got the point, so I then proceeded to kill myself. The end game window then popped up again, saying the round had been a stalemate. I'm not even sure if that's supposed to be possible.

What's kinda dumb about it is that you get decaying overheal, so by the time you engage the enemy team in hell you only have about a 25-ish health advantage. In other words, pushing the cart to victory in this game mode is pretty much pointless.

So Hightower [i]actually[/i] becomes deathmatch then, just like regular Hightower was Well shit

I was so hyped up when I looked at the update page. Then I decided to check how FP reacted to it. Pony hat, people telling map is terrible and crashing under certain ridiculously normal circumstances... And the update had to ship the day exam week started. Oh boy. Then again, I must test this myself when and if I can get at the computer.
