MAJOR TF2 update for 10/29/13 (Fifth Annual Scream Fortress) - Games

At least my item is at the top of the halloween tag now ha ha get wrecked losers.

Where's the Halloween spirit, everyone? I'll admit, this doesn't hold a candle to the first two Scream Fortress events, but I still think it's a fun update.

Seems like it'd be fun if my game hadn't crashed constantly within 3 minutes of joining a game.

I'm happy about everything except ALL of the new hats being holiday restricted. I don't think I'm being an entitled baby when I call Valve fucking dumb as hell over this.

I went onto a server and picked up a gift that spawned for me. I crashed a few minutes after I got it, but I didn't receive an item.

Those items I'd prefer to be wearable all the time but the majority of the others should be restricted.

People were talking about getting a new hat upon winning (BTW you win by touching the Bombinomicon first, not getting the Payload up first). I only got an empty book case thingy and then a few pages that I can use for it but I haven't.

I got out of my car a few minutes ago and checked my workshop on my phone for the fun of it and saw two of my items added; I let out a loud yelp and probably startled some neighbors but oh well I'm a happy boy

So is anyone else crashing randomly? I've verified my game a bunch, but Skeletons seem to be the main cause of crashing for me.

You people complaining about holiday restrictions realize that there are many servers that lift the restriction right?
