Which promo hats are worthless? - Games

Alien Swarm Parasite and Ellis Cap, the others are still widely coveted

It's a fun game style, the only problem the game's ever had is a complete lack of support past launch. They released, what, three patches? Then dumped it. Not even any news posts. My Pyro looks awesome with his Gibus, and I wore the Parasite on the Demo until I got my Bonnet. So pike off.

So pike off.[/QUOTE] yeah, specially since they didn't even launch another campaign, I loved the game, but playing the same campaign every fucking time your friend invites to play it for the hat is just fucked up.

In my preference, the Alien Swarm Hat. It looks unfitting on bat on almost every class except for the Pyro.

Alien Swarm Parasite looks so horrible on the Spy. However, since I colored it with a color similar to slate, and now it looks pretty rad.

I would say that the parasite is pretty useless, it looks bad too but that might be because it's so common, like the vita saw looks bad because it was almost the only polycount weapons that dropped.

Everything apart from the Parasite requires you to actually spend money by buying the associated game. Since Alien Swarm is a free game, that makes it a free and therefore worthless hat. Technically, any hats received as a result of buying a game should actually be worth more than any of the store hats.

I like the parasite on the heavy, because one of its tentacles acts as a moustache :v:

At least the parasite looks decent painted....Ellis's cap doesn't.

Alien Swarm Parasite is truly worthless. It is a free hat that you can get for spending a couple hours on a game. Anyone has the potential to get it.

I can't understand it either because why you should spend 30$ on 3 items? (I'm talking about Max Pre-order). I can understand buying the other game by helping someone else some Charity or something like that. But buying +20$ game just for one hat is stupid.

The lot of them. Or at least, that's how it should be. The Max's head is awful, I traded mine for a Hound Dog and thought I got a pretty good deal. Now I can apparently get an Unusual Hound Dog. I mean, what?
