I traded a soldier medal for a frying pan when it first came out thinking pan was with bills and not with ellis I was wrong
Hey Bill's Hat isn't worthless, I got at least $8 for it. Could've gotten a bit more but I wanted The Witcher now dammit
Parasite and Ellis' Cap. Although I traded Ellis' Cap for 2 keys...
:wtc:
Ellis Cap at least looks good on some classes.
Bill's Hat and maybe Max's Severed Head are the only one's I'd still want to have
Bill's Hat and maybe Max's Severed Head are the only one's I'd still want to have
I'd only want them to trade them for something
From all these, only the Bill's Hat matches TF2's art style so it'd be just this one for me.
All of 'em.
Alien Swarm Parasite is truly worthless. It is a free hat that you can get for spending a couple hours on a game. Anyone has the potential to get it.
It took you a couple hours to get that achievement? But still, I can't say the Parasite is worthless, it's the only reason I ever played Alien Swarm, and I like that game.
Exactly - it's rarer than Bill's, but the community treats it like it's worth as much as a Gibus.
YES!exactly its rare and promotial item aswell as bills hat, bills hat cost 6 refined nowadays and for the visor u can barely get reclaimed, how sad....
Why is Ellis's Cap worthless? I thought you had to get it by buying L4D2, just like Bill's?
In terms of rarity the parasite and Ellis's Cap are pretty common. And I'm pretty sure that many people have Foster's tie and mask, and Bill's Hat too. I don't care what people say about the Dealer's Visor and the Lumbricus Lid, they're cool. Max's head is both the best-looking to me and the rarest as far as I'm aware.
Parasite. It's a free game and people can get the hat any time (though only one time per account). All the other hats were/am for a limited time and/or were with a paid game.
Anybody who wears a Gibus or Parasite is silly.
My purple parasite Rimmiris is insulted and crying, and it's all your fault.
I like the Killing Floor stuff because I love Killing Floor. That's the point of promo hats, to show off that you're a fan of a game series.
In my opinion, the best all-class hats per class: Ellis Cap: Engineer, Scout Parasite: Pyro Max's Head: Possibly Scout, Pyro, Heavy, and the Medic Bill's Hat: Soldier, Scout, Pyro, Demoman, Heavy
Surprised that the Mann Co. Cap isn't in the Poll.
I like the Mann Co cap.
all of them suck.
First time Foster released atleast 2 people in each server would spazz about how they gave their foster set for hats when they're worth a lot now. I've even seen someone give a guy 7 hats for it too. Vintage, of course.
The Ellis Hat, what a joke. It's like the poorest of the poor and irish hats.
Gibus
Erectin' a poll! Since their inception with Bill's Hat, promotional hats have been hotly desired/decried. But what are they worth? The hat's value varies, but seems to be either "godlike" or "worthless". So, select all the promo hats you think are worthless, or not worth a 1:1 trade for another hat. http://tf2stats.net/hats
Voted ellis cap, ugly as hell. I traded it for some scrap and paint. I don`t mind the parasite, i don`t use the KF mask because i have an attendant, and i like the slight rarity of the bounty hat. I would love a bills hat, but i wouldn`t trade 4 hats for it. As for the gibus- i wore it just because it made me look less plain but eventually i just destroyed it outright. Later, i scammed my friend into giving it back to me because it gave me nostalgia. (in the time i had no gibus, i had found the mullet, demomans fro and the soldiers stash.)
All except Bill's Hat and the Foster's Facade. Those are the only hats that are worth something for me.
