If they half-ass it, or try to inject certian mmorpg elements built to enhance pve into "standard" TF2 gameplay and hope for the best, things would turn out real bad real quick.

wha? the hat is required for the set bonus so they technically effect gameplay, if you're not wearing the fez along with his weapons then you won't have that insanely gameplay effecting silenced dead ringer uncloak
