A direct hit with it makes a huge difference. But it'd still be better if it exploded on surfact contact, in my opinion.

How's this
Valve should make LnL explode on surface contact with smaller splash radius than normal GL and buff the damage, just my opinion.

And a rocket launcher that moves at the same speed as the regular rocketlauncher, but only explodes on a direct hit. And a shotgun that only shoots if there's someone in the crosshair. What good is a weapon if all it does is support skill? Rather than using it because its an alternative?

It should only shoot if you properly lead your shot so that every single pellet successfully hits your enemy. And only when it's a critical hit. And sometimes the shots are duds.

Vs competent players it's utter trash. Not even close to being worth it, both the LnL and the DH.
Loch&Load is not a bad weapon. It feels very underpowered when you first try it but after using it a lot it feels only slightly underpowered. I'm not sure if the self-damage is a good downside. It makes melee essential and L&L a bad combination with Caber. [editline]editline[/editline] Sure you can't spam with it, but spamming is cheap anyway.

Other packs just throw crap together that only affect you, and not other weapons. [editline]3rd January 2011[/editline] I approve of this survey.

How's this[/QUOTE] Basically the secondary fire of the Flak Cannon from Unreal Tournament. I love that gun. The Direct Hit is not underpowered and far from useless, it's one of the most equilibrated weapons in the game, fantastic at short range and against sentries. It's more difficult to deflect than the normal rocket launcher, but the lack of a decent splash damage makes it an alternative rather than an upgrade to the rocket launcher.

Oh wait... There's 3 things the DH is good at: - 1-shotting 125HP classes - Airshots - Killing bad players Out of the 125HP classes, the only one that should be in a direct fight is the Scout, and a good Scout will kill you before you've killed him with it most of the time. Airshots with the DH are piss-easy if you can get airshots with the regular launcher, far too easy for the effect it has. Versus good players the Rocket Launcher is infinitely better.
