Survey of TF2's current state (Yes, Valve will see it.)

In my opinion it should have a bullet resistance. Like 25% or something. You're dead against heavies and/or scouts.
I think they made a point of it having a clear weakness.
You do have a fucking grenade launcher, numbnuts.
Yeah, it's pretty hard to tell as a Scout is the demoknight an accurate one or not.
Usually if I just suddenly blow to bits it is some-what accurate demo, though inaccurate ones they die hard :v:
I took the survey.
I said that keys should have a drop system, but make the drop rate rarer than hats.
I took the survey, responded as accurately as I believed.
My pessimistic brain thinks that this won't change anything though
If I may, may I post this on Steam Forums if it isn't already? Someone should.
I think they should drop keys. But dropped keys should be something like "Rusty Keys" they will open crates, but you cannot get unusual hats from them. You also have a slight chance of getting nothing (possibly).

Pretty sure that would make people angrier.
The balance questions made me realize that, even though the game has been raped beyond hell and back, it's actually really rather neatly balanced right now, I don't have any complains about that.
I thought back then, and still think now, that the Scout and the Pyro are overpowered.

Well instead they sit in your inventory, you delete them, or take the time to find someone who'll trade for them. At least this way you'd be able to do something with them.

Then have these "Rusty Keys" be fairly common. And have "Pristine Keys" that are more rare and can unbox unusuals or be multi use or something.

no
Valve's goal with the hats was to individualize players, now that they've got 10+ hats (and growing) for each class each with accessories and a ton of colors, almost no two players will be the same! Shouldn't be a subject of complaint if you ask me!
Yeah, I think we've got enough hats for... pretty much until TF3.

Wait, what is the problem with hats? Do people actually gloat about having hats?
We got 3670 fill-outs as of now. Rate wrench if you want the results now. Rate heart if you want to wait for more fill-outs.

Please wait, Valve will need several tissue boxes while looking at the gut-wrenching hate comments with how things are :smith:

......I like whats going on, even with all the new weapons. Its amazingly balanced.
I've thought Demoman were overpowered because they feel like a faster soldier that can one hit kill 125 HP classes.
This game feels more more closer to one of these Korean free 2 play MMORPG's that forces you pay for shit to get the best stuff in the game, hats/weapons alike.
Oh yeah, if crates could be crafted into scrap metal it would be great too. Guess it would drive down the sales tough.
I'd love it if Valve would just delete everything relating to the demoman's sword and give him some actually interesting weapons. There's so much potential and Valve persists with "LOL NEW SWORD GUYS". Ugh.

Yeah. The new sword was such a dumb and boring addition.
As much as I hate to admit it, this page pretty much shows everything thats gone wrong with TF2: http://encyclopediadramatica.com/Tf2
Reasons why we hate crates and vintage hats:
1) When I want a hat, it so happens to be vintage and I have to give more hats.
2) Crates cost $2.50 to open and it doesn't guarantee a hat.
3) Hats from crates are considered crap, even if it looks awesome.
4) Ugly as shit dappers everywhere.
5) Crates only sell for a weapon each, considering the fact you can get unusuals from it.
And 1 last thing, which idiot set up this stupid economy.

I agree, and the addition of "backpack expanders" is the ultimate proof.
It's like those bad 2D games where you can buy a new playerbackground for 5€.
I'll never understand why Valve wasted their own energy programming that vintage crap. They should have left that shit alone.

they focus too much on his "LOL IM A SCOTSMAN" character gimmick when they make his weapons. it was cute during the war update but now it's getting stale. give him something practical instead of another "SO WACKY" sword.

The new sword is useless and a straight downgrade when you use it without the Targe.
That is ironic coming from me because I use it.

That's the whole point. TF2 builds on Rocketlauncher/Paper/Scissors.

The only real reason why somebody opens a crate is because they want an Unusual. You don't open a crate and think "oh please, please, please, let it be Slate, let it be Slate!!"

As for the weapons with dull stats like the new demo sword: I think the problem is the community just models based on what's in the game. That's fine for them because they can't "think big" in their position because they're not the ones that distribute stats. That's why the Wrangler, the Targe or Jarate never could have been a community weapons.
I'm interested in what classes people think are overpowered/underpowered.
