The Cleidheim (can't spell it) was quite a disappointment, I have not once had any use for it's lengthened charge. My recommended buff would be to make it work like the Eyelander turning exploit used to. As in, it can make crazy turns, and it will do this by default and not just when you use the turnright and turnleft commands. The Claidheamhmor seems helpful enough on Degroot Keep where you just need a little bit more charge, to me, anyway The Ullapool Caber is absolutely fine, it's better than fine, it's fucking awesome. It's fun to use, and in my opinion is is completely balanced. The only thing that MAYBE should be nerfed is how you don't receive any damage from it with the Sticky Jumper, but then again you are already more vulnerable with this weapon equipped. Pretty balanced IMO. The Ullapool Caber doesn't seem like a serious weapon, it just seems a weapon that's there for shits and giggles, to be honest. I don't use it seriously, I just fuck around with it Fists of Steel, feels like they're a bit too powerful. Perhaps a slowdown when wielding them would be balanced and justified by their weight. If a Scout with his melee rolls up to you when you're using them, you're fucked. If a Spy does, you're fucked. If a Soldier with an Equalizer does, you're fucked. If a Demo comes charging towards you with the targe, you're fucked. Boston Basher, balanced by being a high risk high reward melee. It is also fucking hilarious. It's a good stop to the LOLSCOUTSPAMMELEE Amputator, needs a downside. It's indisputably a plain upgrade from the bonesaw, it's the bonesaw but with an upside and no downside. If it doesn't get a downside, then perhaps the default should just have it's damage buffed. The Amputator's upgrade is fine, because to use its special ability, you have to taunt, leaving you completely vulnerable for 5 seconds. A lot can happen in 5 seconds. With the original Bonesaw, you never worry about taunting, so you're in control all the time, also buffing the original Bonesaw is a terrible idea, it's supposed to be the same as all the other original melee weapons Crossbow, terribly unfitting Medic's personality and shooting arrows at your allies looks retarded. However I do admit that it is in fact a rather useful sidegrade. Crossbow is fine to the Medic's personality thanks to its decoration and it is useful, albeit a bit weak Steak, doesn't fit Heavy, but it doesn't seem that bad in terms of balance. Steak is good for Medieval mode and when you just want to smack a bitch, although with the Fists of Steel, you won't last too long, which is another reason why the Fists of Steel isn't as overpowered as you think it is Warrior's spirit, same as above. +30% more damage for -20 health? You have a little less health for the most powerful melee weapon in the game. It SEEMS overpowered, but I haven't used it myself. Brass beast, feels too powerful. Don't know if it's just me, or if it's actually too powerful. It feels and it is are two different things. While its power is good, it leaves you incredibly vulnerable, you move way too slowly with it revved and the spin-up time is just insult to injury, on the other hand, you can kill overhealed Heavies with it if they aren't using it and you've spotted them first Backscratcher, I don't like it. Don't know what I feel about it simply because I never use it. Seems overpowered, to be honest, the +25% damage seems incredibly unneeded
Just added my opinions.
Only thing that really annoys me that Valve has done so far is the crate and key system. Its borderline online gambling and they know it.
Pyro is totally underpowered (inb4shitstorm) Also Vintage is useless and people give too much shit about it. They should buff the Loch-N-Load and the Sydney Sleeper, get all Killicons, sounds, anims fixed, and get a game without any bugs before adding new stuff. Right Now, TF2 is like a big Tetris tower with a lot of holes in it. Fill the holes, so the lines disappear and everything is clear, and add new pieces. :v:
I didn't really claim any class is Underpowered, but I wouldn't mind if Pyro could use his grenades as secondary. I KNOW grenades are taboo, but what about this: No explosion damage, only ignites people in the radius. Sometimes setting people on fire as Pyro is just plain suicidal. EDIT: And it recharges like jarate.

All of these drops, hats and gimmicky new weapons ruined tf2...
Why not just add a special ability for each class that got this rapeAOE skill that takes forever to rechange and be done with it.
And it isn't recharged between deaths.
It'd be interesting if this will do anything.
I think the Medic could've used a new Medigun with these stats: 25% Slower healing rate On Ubercharge: Grants six seconds of both invincibility and 100% critical hits to healing target only 30% Slower charge rate, down to 20% when healing an injured teammate Ubercharge can only be used once per life

finally submitted my answers
I'm mostly pissed that all the new weapons look like reskins and are all about stats.
As much as I hate to admit it, this page pretty much shows everything thats gone wrong with TF2: http://encyclopediadramatica.com/Tf2
Yeah, like Jarate. Edit: oh lol, my video is linked on ED, I feel accomplished. [editline]4th January 2011[/editline]
I'm mostly pissed that all the new weapons look like reskins and are all about stats.
Polycount was supposed to be community reskins. [editline]4th January 2011[/editline]
Just added my opinions.
Claiming that having the option to taunt and heal allies is balanced is ridiculous, why would you choose not to be able to do it over having the option? Don't be stupid and taunt in stupid places and it'll obviously come in handier than the Bonesaw.
Some guy traded me a normal hat tower for 2 crappy vintage hats I didn't even like. And he actually acted like I was the guy who got scammed. Vintage should go.
the multi-use keys should be only buyable, whereas the single use keys should drop.
I think they should drop keys. But dropped keys should be something like "Rusty Keys" they will open crates, but you cannot get unusual hats from them. You also have a slight chance of getting nothing (possibly).
Change it to 2 refined + crate and remove the nothing modifier and you've got a winner.
How exactly is valve going to see this?
Some guy traded me a normal hat tower for 2 crappy vintage hats I didn't even like. And he actually acted like I was the guy who got scammed. Vintage should go.
In my opinion you were if you are like me. I don't let the hats get in my way when playing TF2, however I go on tf2tp.com during my respawns and I trade with people because I'm trying to beat Robin Ketchum! The best Pokehat Master their currently is. Soon the masses will know of geek_loser. The boy who could stack his hats higher!
How exactly is valve going to see this?
I think the creator will mail them the survey, if they won't I would like to know as well.
[img_thumb]http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/5599/cratesi.png[/img_thumb]
You make my day. :sun:
It's not working.
Results please.
Claiming that having the option to taunt and heal allies is balanced is ridiculous, why would you choose not to be able to do it over having the option? Don't be stupid and taunt in stupid places and it'll obviously come in handier than the Bonesaw.
The downside is that the Amputator is expensive to craft and you have to choose it over the Ubersaw, Valve has pretty much recognized that no one uses the Bonesaw anyway, so if they gave the Amputator a downside like the Ubersaw's then no one would use it as the Ubersaw is very helpful as it is.
I use the Bonesaw. :| This is also ridiculous logic but whatever, I'm not going to go out of my way to explain this shit.
"Expensive to craft" is only true for a few weeks, after that these weapons will become just crafting material like all other weapons. And the Ubersaw doesn't excuse it. The Vita-Saw has received a downside as well and it's nice alternative to the Ubersaw tho I only use it rarely - but I do so more often than the Bonesaw.
The Amputator's downside is that in order for it to be useful, you have to stand around and taunt like an idiot, leaving you vulnerable to Spies and Snipers, or any other class for that matter.
The Amputator's downside is that in order for it to be useful, you have to stand around and taunt like an idiot, leaving you vulnerable to Spies and Snipers, or any other class for that matter.
A situational upgrade is still a small upgrade. The normal taunt of the Bonesaw leaves you just as vulnerable and you don't get any compensation for it. With the Amputator you can taunt and actually do something for your team. You just can't let that qualify as a downside. Nobody is forcing you to taunt with it. It can do everything just as well as the Bonesaw and comes with a little extra. So why pick the Bonesaw (aside from optical preferences or something like that)?
I know, the Bonesaw always gets the short end of the stick. I was just saying. :v: If they would actually even out the balances between the Medic's melee items like they did with the Pyro's flamethrowers, it would be all good.
